This is a dead pitch from Overs 45-80 as the old ball has no pace on a deteriorating pitch in terms of pace and bounce. Even against Australia it was the new ball which made the difference for spinners as it gives extra pace of the wicket to the spinners. In normal circumstances you will not find Sodhi cutting the spinners from the stumps at will.
