Pakistan v South Africa | 1st T20I | Lahore | February 11, 2021 | Pakistan innings

Haider needs to rotate strike more if not able to hit six

Threw away the wicket. No need to go in the air.

Same leg stump line I was talking about.

Rohail is not a Limited Overs batsman either, and Azam Khan should focus on becoming a specialist batsman and give up keeping hopes.

Havent seen much of him, just read some posts about him here.

Azam khan needs to be playing domestic cricket. Playing t10 and t20 is not gonna help him.
Gonna have to watch a couple psl games now to see how he does.

Hes big and seems to be light on his feet. I think he can keep, just needs to lose more weight.

Haider Ali is nowhere near a player that should be inducted in any team for Pakistan yet.

He needs a good coach to work with him for a good 2-3 years continuously and then could be inducted in T20s.

Rotate strike, take the game deep, you have Khushdil, Iftikhar, and Faheem to come in and slog. Need to stay composed.

Why is half the ground wasted? They have brought in the ropes for pretty much half the ground. Disgusting.

I said this earlier he needs to be more calculated. He is trying to smash everything.

He has loads of talent but his circket iq seems to be pretty low.

Hmmm, Haider not quite the 70+ scoring batsman just yet. But you have to say, these snails like Rizwan put extra pressure on.

His temperament is the issue.

Plays with a slogger's mindset.

Shot was on, Haider should have hit that in the gap

Talat is the most underrated young batsman in Pakistan.

Haider plays purely on instincts. He needs a lot of FC experience.

Rizwan has not been outscored by any opener who ve played with him. then what s the cry about removing him?

Rizwan’s biggest issue is his timing is poor. He has to muscle everything to the boundary.

FC and he needs to watch A LOT of tape. I mean a ton. He doesnt know the meaning of building an innings. He also needs a mentor but thats too much to ask for

This is great intent. Him and Haider both have looked positive

Not much nerves at all for Talat on his come back. Good sweep

Well let's see. He has 3 games to show us what he can do.

He has looked good every time I have seen him. He doesn’t get talked about much and he doesn’t have a fan club behind him.

A lot of players of similar or even lesser potential have had more chances than him.

Should get a few opportunities in ODIs as well.

Talat just needs to calm down a bit here.

Snyman is gonna put it full, so the best places to hit are within the V or driving the ball. If you can lift it on the off-side, that's worthwhile as well.

Hussain Talat is the local boy here.

Hails from Shahdara which is near Allama Iqbal International airport (Lahore).

Might get a chance in ODIs if he performs in T20s given Pakistan's selection culture.

Has an opportunity to get his name on that team sheet.

Any idea why SA is not full strength here? Considering T20 WC is this year and that too in sub continent, they wont get a better series. No wonder their cricket is in a downward spiral.

Their main players thought they had to prepare for the games against Australia. They did not know then that it would get cancelled.

Rizwan needs to ease his batting right now.

He's hacking the ball right now.

Maybe he needs to play orthodox shots for a few overs and not go for sixes too early. Could be more of a technical player whereas when I have seen him he has been out slogging.

Rizwan looks so ungainly when the ball is angled into his body. His head falls off and it looks like he will never get bat on ball.

Younis is obviously not interested in working with the batsman in spite of the fact that he is the batting coach. Hopefully Yousuf can work with him in off-season.

Rizwan cannot play an on-drive and Yousuf was so good at it.

They had to go into bubble for Aus tests but, than they cancelled the tour at the last moment.

Something to do with COVID bubbles and cut offs for their next tour I think which I think got cancelled anyway so missed a trick.

Talat has always looked good, he shouldve been focusing just on his batting because his bowling is alright. But he clearly has talent

It's a T20, you need to slog in these games tbf, just need to hit through the line. Thought he had the right idea, just didn't get enough of the ball.

He needs to understand the role he plays. Not just there to hit a flashy 20. He throws away good starts so often, it's disappointing watching him.
