If anything , pakistan has the best chance of winning in a low scoring game. These kind of pitches suit us. But GOD it is boring.

I hope they score 240 plus , i want to see how our batsmen respond as there is no pressure to win today.

I don't think Misbah has done anything wrong. He is just trying to use his bowling resources effectively. Giving Sohail Tanvir an old-ish ball would have been a waste, but Junaid can use it very effectively with his yorkers, tight lines and pace on these, dare I say, unfriendly UAE wickets.

"I guess Afridi is preparing well for the world cup. When ever expectations from him reach rock-bottom, he starts performing quite well like in the T20 WC where he helped Pakistan win."

last 20 overs if they get even 120 , it gets them to over 230 . good news is no steyn, morkel & tahir .

du Plessis 43 rus off 84 balls with a staggering S/R of 51

And then we complain about our batsmen

these two are very well set... faf is not worrying me but AB. We cant let him go on anymore.

on cricinfo Noman Aziz: "200 is a new 250 for Pak and 250 is a 325. So a score of around 235 would be like chasing 300. Good luck Pak batting!"

I agree with him.

game drifting - SA batting with intelligence which is non-existent when our heroes come out

Be happy he is in any position at all in the field, he should be playing domestic for all the good reasons.

That's a different discussion. The point is that if Ponting dropped a catch, it wouldn't make him a bad fielder, or any other player. He dropped the match, I know, but its part of the game...and even you know that he's not going anywhere, so you would rather give him some support and keep your fingers crossed rather than oppose him. Speaking of catches, Tanvir just took one.

Thanks to Junaid and Afridi. His str rate has improved from 45.

Thanks to junaid he is back in the pavilion. ;) ;)

But like i said its not him i am worried about. Its the gymnastic master AB. I expect a few improvised fours.

Actually chances of SA scoring 240 now just increased a bit. :P

Junaid has been rewarded of the good work done by the spinner on the other end. This pitch is one terrible pitch.

Sharjah was so much better in the 90s. Some of the most memorable matches, and now this

Cant believ it was one of my favourite grounds to watch cricket (on TV)

Well his quota is over... Afridi 0/37 in ten overs. Economical but must perform with the bat too.
