BS. After all he has done post the England tour in 2010, he's up there with the best captains Pakistan has ever had. Add to that the fact that he's a top notch batsman and the man is indispensable for Pakistan cricket at the moment.

Really? After playing so well he had one bad shot, a shot which usually clicks so well in the past, and he is the worst captain? And who do you support for captain-ship? People like Hafeez and Afridi who have made careers out of bad shots? The glaring hypocrisy.

Just when we had a glimer of hope it gets snatched away.

Now this should be a make-or-break situation for Adnan. These two must add another 100 runs by stumps today, if they want to keep their respective spots in the side. They should put on a fight like they did against Sri Lanka last year.

If we loose the match from here. it will be only because of that pathetic ugly shot from Misbah.
 
"Miss" bah missed again.
He is one of the most unluckiest guy in Cricket along with Sachin in the matters of finishing off the game.
 
Weird shot and :four but we are riding the luck... I pray it will last till tomorrow but dont think so.

Shafiq has earned his spot now, Adnan has to make atleast 100 to seal his spot for next series....


Putting a fight against Lanka is one thing, and Putting a fight against SA is completely another matter, today i will see how many guts Akmal has :P

Shafiq looks rick solid. Everything hitting middle of bat. At ease against morkel. Except that one that went over slips.

these both had laid a solid platform and they were set for big scores. These both know that they are the only hope left for the team. in that ituation he shouldn't have played this ugly shot. After all he is the captain.
 
Adnan fighting for his career. He needs a big knock otherwise a sloppy effort here surely would result in him getting dumped.
 
Who says it's Misbah's fault? He's not the one who asked akmal to drop catches and the other batsmen to fail in both innings.

No, it will be because of a combination of factors, Misbah's shot is the least of which. Anyone who believes Misbah's shot is what will ultimately lead to Pakistan losing this test should be tested for brain damage.

To start off, the pathetic batting display in the first innings from everyone bar maybe Zulfiqar Babar, DeVilliers getting two lives at the hands of Adnan Akmal and one of the umpires and then going on to get 164, and the suspicious early reverse swing in the first innings *cough* tampering *cough* are all much greater factors than Misbah's shot.

Younis was well set, he also knew there is no hope after him :facepalm:

That shot is misbah's bread and butter shot, it just didnt came right this time

Ofcourse no blame on the duck double at opening or the horror number 3 or the " i was so shocked at being left out of the ODI squad i played a foolish shot that took my wicket" number 4.
 
Guys although I am bitterly disappointed with that Misbah dismissal but we all know that shot has been his go-to-shot and has fetched him bucketloads of runs. It happens;your productive shot sometimes can go wrong as well. Need to go easy on him.

Not every time those shots work... For example jamsheed is a master player of flicking on the pads which gives him most of his runs. In the Sa ODI he missed one from totsobe and was LBW... even you signature shot can go wrong.

Adnan needs to score 200. But I suspect he will score the above number of runs excluding the two zeros at the end of the figure .

I think his Karachi heros are not in the team - hence his hate for non Karachi players.
 
I hope Adnan realizes his mistake and gets stuck in to make atleast half of what ABDV made.

Will people stop this non sense about Karachi and Lahore . It's you that's bringing it up. We are all Pakistanis . We want the best players irrespective of what part of Pakistan they are from . Stop bringing up this topic again and again
