exactly Jamal. he was very unlucky, that was an easy six on any other day but due to some great fielding by kulasekara he had to go. great shot, connected very well. and some stupid haters here on the thread think he needs to be dropped because he didn't "make pakistan win the match."

now think realistically, did you actually expect pakistan to win the match from there anyways?
pakistan were 8 down. yeah possibly, afridi could have stayed there until the end but surely, wouldn't his tailender partners would desert him one-by-one..?!

so don't blame the loss on him. blame it on the players that were actually expected to perform. manzoor, misbah, younis. sure, blame it on afridi as well - i agree - but he came into the scene where it was very unlikely to win in the first place.

Murali and Mendis will cause problems for our tailenders. In the previous game, we didnt have to chase so many runs and could afford to be patient against them. However when your going to chase 6 runs an over and have to attack them then they have higher chances to picking up wickets.

The Sri Lankan pacers came to the party today and that made the difference. Was dissapointed by Akhtar's and Tanvir's performances today. Those 2 especially Akhtar are rightfully under pressure.

Pakistan can bring Amin in as a batsmen and ajmal can replace akthar!

and Ajmal for Afridi would not change the balance of the side as yasir arafat is a better batsman, bowler & fielder than Afridi
although Tanvir is not bowling well trying talha in place of him might be a
good idea


Just trolling I dont think Ajamal is abetter odi bowler than Afridi but I do think Yasir Arafat and Talha should be given a chance
