I think the tactic is fine.

We have NO depth in the batting.

So rather score 100/0 in 30 overs and give afridi, mailk, tanveer etc. just 2~5 overs each to play aggressively. can't expect afridi & below hold for 20~25 overs by themselves.

Both Manzoor and Butt don't need to give the wicket away. Save for the 25-20 overs left.
Misbah along with Malik and Fawad could provide stable and quick inning for us in last ten overs with third power play provided.
