I don’t think that’s the case at all

West Indies were given a script by their bowling coach and captain, they are following it well.

A bit surprising it took Babar that long to play this shot but it's clear he is struggling to time the ball properly and WI bowlers are doing well to keep it very tight.

what records he is on 13 off 30 odd balls hardly going for records. They are just plain awful and surely wont be lucky like last game and lose this match i reckon

so bat another 100 balls, kill the game.. score 80 odd... and wah wah wah? great no1?

Babar needs to stop playing for personal records as a player and stop supporting his friends (Fakhar & Hassan Ali) if he needs to be recognized as serious player / captain

NZ scoring at a better rate in a test match than Pak on a phatta in Multan. ODI cricket will die much sooner with bilaterals like these.

Gotta love how WI are delaying bringing on the spinners as long as they can and keeping the pressure on with the pacers.

If there was no Babar, Imam would be the poster boy of Pakistan. His stats and conversion rates are phenomenal

No it wont...only PAK play like this no other countries do that. Even Afghanistan whose pacers i saw yesterday will be above us by next year.

Hez been amazingly good since his debut .... very consistent .. and he is still blamed for being slow

Babar continues to be unhappy with Imam's running. He does run a little too conservatively.

I suppose it's better than pulling a Hafeez or being reckless like Sarfraz.

A spinner finally comes on and gives up 9 runs in the first over. Run rate essentially 5 runs an over which is generally where Pakistan is at after 20 overs.

Good to see Pakistan being the lowest in dot % in the past 4 years. Seems hard to believe but a lot of their dot issues are in the first 10 overs. Pakistan does really well in rotating once the field is spread and do much of the same in T20's too.

Another half century for Imam. Really impressive run lately and scoring at very good SR.

I am sure Imam is glad we are not playing in UAE anymore.

People need to stop the unecessary hate for Imam.

He has proven himself atleast in ODIs, and is now comfortably our 2nd best batsman, just behind the best batsman in the world.

A hardworking player who has gone through trolls and hate to warrant himself a permanent place in Pakistan's XI.

He is leagues ahead of the Shehzads, Akmals, Masoods we have had in the past.

Imam really missed out on a chance of 100 runs, he still played a good innings, but always a painful feeling to be run-out

It was Imam's call, and he practically made it to the other end with ease, then had to turn back. Babar should have run.

Thats' on Babar to be fair, ball watching when it's clearly Imam's call.

Missed out on a decent hundred

Babar saved himself there, ball watching , would have easily made it had he run when Imam called.

Pakistan mirroring NZ test score at the moment, who have only played about 4 5 overs more.

What score does Pakistan finish off with from here on end- and what should be the ideal score to defend

Rizwan walking in after a solid foundation in a non-pressure situation batting first. If there's ever a time to turn his ODI fortunes around...

Very good spinner

Can bat as well. Hossein is a very good prospect

Babar has hit the fielders at least 5 times in this innings and thus 20 runs short of what he should be on

They need to start upping the rate now and take some risks. In particular Babar who is well set now.

Run outs are part and parcel of the game. Imam knows it well he needs to control his theatrics

Personally think Rizwan and Fakhar need to swap places in the batting order. Rizwan only has use as an opener in limited overs, and Fakhar could have a go at the spinners in the middle overs.

There you have it

Rizwan following suit with rest of batting by batting at a slow pace early on

I felt babar was exhausted from previous inning's toil. Just didn't look flowing. Such a high standards this guy has set

This is the type of aggressive batters Pakistan needs. Not worried about trying to accumulate runs to keep his roster spot but doing what the team needs out of him.
