Excellent partnership. Misbah finds his form but too little too late. Excellent knock by Kami.
Big difference b/w 4-1 and 3-2. Job well done.

Congrats to Aussies 2nd string on winning the series though..
 
Good comeback from Misbah, hopefully he will carry this form

Excellent innings from Akmal. He is by far the best wicket-keeper batsmen we have.
 
great win for pakistan, we could have clinched the series if we didnt collapse in the 3rd ODI! well done to akmal brilliant knock!

Apparently because when he first came into the team, he was very young compared to his team mates.

Actually i was just thinking about some of the posters i have recently noticed.

Akmal's two brothers deserve a fair look at their performance as they could be great prospects as well

I believe he gave this during the first ODI as well. I believe who ever wins the match was going to be rewarded by PCB.
 
PCB isn't really broke. There is lot of money which they make back of these players. These awards are nothing when you look at things within the right context.
 
My observation is that Pakistan team lack confidence in other team mates and therefore afraid of a collapse if they get out which effect their games.
But today with positive attitude and bit of luck they sailed through to win the game.

Younis: "The spinners did the job for us first. It was a team effort. We were talking about rotate the strike before the chase. They finished very well. Kamran has always done the job at the top of the order. I have learnt a lot from the Aussies in this series about handling pressure. This is a young team and they are gelling well."

The PCB has given a special award of Rs 500,000 for Kamran Akmal. Very generous gesture. This shows how much this win means for them.

Pakistan has won the dead rubber match. I know Misbah and Kamran did well and compared to the Inzimam and Yousuf, Misbah and Kamran did far better than them against Australia.

The point is Pakistan has lost the series. Therefore, Younus Khan captaincy didn't help at all.
Anyways, congratulation for winning the dead rubber match? Too bad i did miss the match.

I guess the flat track did help Pakistan team after all. Pakistan is not capable to adapt in slow pitches especially the quality pitches like seaming pitches, green pitches, and the bouncy pitches.

Gratz to Pakistan! Good to end the series with a morale boosting win. Bit of a Rajasthan flavour to this with Akmal and Twatson both scoring tons.

For us, even though we lost this match, I've been happy with the way our young blokes have performed.
