Issue is he's isnt a pace basher. Hes not clueless against it but you could tell in psl he isnt really good at handling early seam or swing.

Hes a natural against spin and decent against older ball pace, middle order is ideal. Besides everyone wants to open in pakistan.

Pakistan has an issue of too many openers (Fakhar, Haris, Saim, Babar, Rizwan, Farhan, etc etc)

But not enough middle order batters.
