Pakistan vs England, 1st ODI, Cardiff: Updates

Razzaq is spot on. So we've used four so far. Anyone think that Hafeez will get a bowl? But IMO, Razzaq, Afridi, Malik, and Hafeez should share 23 overs between them, wtih Asif bowling 10, Akhtar with 9, and Rana with 9 from before. Hafeez and Malik to get 4 overs each.

If Shoaib Akhtar sends Ian Bell's stumps flying with a yorker, I won't care WHAT happens next.

Bell after being dropped off and struggling against Rana is playing quite well now. This guy has come a long way in my books.

79 for 3 after 20. Commentators pointing out that England don't have much batting to come

Not at all we dont bowl in the right areas to him often. 79-3 off 20

pakistan needs to finish them off quickly n then make the runs quickly before ti starts raining

81/3 after 20.1

He did get some loose ones from Shoaib (and probably luck he did face Asif as much) , but you still have to put them away. I think did that quite well so far.

How an international umpire gives that LBW appeal not out is beyond me.

Very out, not given!

Botham agrees with what I have already said before that Shoaib was very unlucky not to be given that Strauss decision in the first over.

Meh! We still want England to put up a half way decent score, anyways. But if you are counting for the ODI series keep track of those decisions.

Pathetic decision. Its funny how the so-called rub of the green always goes against Pakistan.

welcome back Saj, how was ure holiday?

going to any of the ODI's?

were u kept updated about the fiasco?

rana a tad bit expensive....could have gotten a few wickets...has beaten the bat a few times...but that why its called cricket

England 93/3 (22.6 ov)

Very poor Rana today. A few good balls with too many 4 balls to relieve the pressure.

rana needs to be more contrlloing..he attacks too much!

well with asif having put the pressure on its not a bad tactic for rana to go at the batsmen his economy not showing how well he has bowled today

Razzaq not looking lethal, but he's bowling really well and he is spot on.

Bell really has stablized the English innings, or else God knows where they would be.,

Clever bowling from Afridi. In drift and slightly slower.
