Karma strikes once more. Credit to Imran. Has delivered whenever he's been called upon.

I just cant understand if 9/10 times third umpire cant over turn on field call even when it was clearly out/not out then why we waste 5 mins on review

how did u see that it bounced? Are u watching some other footage?

It did look to me like the ball changed trajectory in the last frame before it hit the fielder's foot. Impossible to overturn the on field decision based on that replay.

Good keeping by Sarfaraz in this inning. He is not that bad as people are making him.

No way of telling if that hit the grass before the boot or not and as the onfield umpire didn't think it was out it rightly stayed not out.
Cd u please explain how wd an on field umpire se that whether he was out or not. Of course he wd hv a doubt or 2 about this but that doesn't mean the third umpire shdnt give what he sees. It' was out mate.. The replays were so clear ..

the on field decision was dumb as well. The on field umpire couldnt have possibly seen whether it hit him on the full or not. He should have told the 3rd umpire that he didnt see it clearly.

A good 2nd inns with bat needed now, we need to aim to get 250-300 atleast so that we can get a 400+ lead. Brilliant effort by Yasir and Wahab and now our batsmen need to make sure that the good work isnt undone.

Hopefully our batsmen can grind england into the dust here.

Anderson got taste of his own medicine

He along with Broad are truly pathetic players of short deliveries, I can still remember him chickening out to a short ball in last over of the fifth day against SL and single-handedly losing the series for his side, it was really embarrassing.

Anderson and Broad both can definitely give Baba a run for money!

If he didn't see it clearly, then surely he has to give it not out?

Respect to Botham there, says it as it is. Admits younis khan's catch was clean, Rameez learn something.

Why should they be good players of short deliveries? They are bowlers for gods sake. Remember the whole team of Pakistan are as poor as them in playing short deliveries.

When did he say this. I dont remember himin the comm box at the time. Others are quoting him too

20 years ago, yes he should have given it not out.

Today When u have drs, and you didnt see it clearly, you gotta be honest with the 3rd umpire and tell him you dont know. How can u give it out or not out if u didnt see it knowing that u can use technology? Its as if the umpire has an ego issue and cant accept he couldnt see it.

Anything over 200 in the 2nd innings should be a winning score. Can't see England getting 350 with the ball turning even more on the 4th day.

Can't see the match going into day 5.

well they havet root ,cook and the lucky red riding hood

haha, England showing the highlights of the Old Trafford game where the umpire ignored Saqlain overstepping all afternoon :))

They ask the 3rd umpire to check for run outs when they are not sure instead of saying they think the batsman is out, or not-out, to the 3rd umpire but asking him to check anyway.

So yes, they can say "not sure one way or the other, please check"

I remember you are the guy who was explaining to some people that Anderson catch wasn't fair and that was not out, and you tried to explain via pics. But i think now what those guy will say about YK catch?? Will they accept that YK catch was a clear one?

Solid batting batting needed here we just need to make sure we see off the new ball here.

Not an inch of swing from Clouderson. Not a hint of reverse-swing in the entire series either. Can't believe he was compared to Steyn at one point.

I was saying that the Anderson catch was out, the TV cameras produce an optical illusion because of a foreshortening effect and low catches almost always look like they hit the grass.

I remember a lot of people giving me crap over it, I wonder what those people will do today:

A) Say that Anderson's catch was clean, thus admitting that I was right and they were wrong.

B) Say that Younus claimed a bump ball as being a clean catch, maintaining consistency in their viewpoint at the expense of being "against Pakistan"

C) Embrace the hypocrisy and say that Anderson's bounced but the catch today was clean.

D) Shout loudly about inconsistent umpiring and hope nobody remembers them moaning about the Anderson catch

I hope we can deal with the spinners better here. No more easy peasy wickets to avoid disturbing their averages.

What a morning session, fantastic from the lads. Now we need to kill the game with the bat.

Broad's face as Buttler dropped that. Jos is proving to be an asset for us in this series. :))

Shan Masood is disappointing, almost gave away wicket twice in first two balls

I still don't have a great feeling about this game. Don't know why.

Masood gone, just looks like a walking wicket!

Pakistan 1/1 poor start to inns, needs to be dropped after this test!

newsflash: Masood worked out for the umpteenth time by a bowler with Anderson's experience and guile.

...and once again it's Anderson.

They should drop Masood for the next game. He's been completely useless.
