Dont be so critical about his feet movement...

If he has good hand-eye co-ordination, he may compensate lack of footwork...Many current succesful openers like Sehwag, Gayle etc also lack footwork.. so thats nothing odd..

Just lets hope that he has a great hand-eye co-ordination and a good temprament...

his comeplete stagnancy could be bcz of his nervous ness and pressure to cement his place in the side....as he has recently scores 250 in a first class game.....I am sure he has not a best foot work but today pressure in great on him specially 2 wickets gone for nought.
