It doesn't matter whether we get Kallis or Boucher out now, we need to expose the tail.

Well , well , well...isn't cricket a great game....this could be interesting yet !

All of sudden the ball is starting to turn a lot. I am getting worried for Pak batting.

over 53.3 0 tosses up, outside off and spins away sharply with some bounce, plays and misses

Now thats a bad thing, spin and bounce

Why is Zaheer commenating the guy cant speak at all. The worst commentator ever

I think Pakistan will be better off if Malik tells Kaneria that he should tighten his bowling and stop runs, and Rehman attack for wicket. Since Kaneria wickets are always too expensive and in this match Pakistan can't afford to get wickets at heavy cost of runs.

Pakistan on track here - except that they let SA score 450 - wonder if the whole game plan was based on batting first !

Thats is stupidity where you gamble that you will win a toss what a bunch of retards

Anything below 400 and more than 120 overs,I bet Saffies will be worried

Na man South Africa is safe they cant loose

60.1 Danish Kaneria to Kallis, no run, way outside leg, turns back into the stumps, pads are covering them tough, another half an appeal from Akmal, maybe someone should explain the lbw law to him

:O

Why is Kaneria bowling ten miles outside leg stump? We can't afford to give away these runs...

Pak will have to bat out 4 sessions at least if they want to save the game.

It depends how much of a lead South Africa wants and how long they bat. They cannot lose this game now.

If they lose more than 2 wickets today I think they will struggle to save the game.

I expect south africa to start hitting out about half an hour after lunch.....should be a bit of fun....

SA won't declare until after tea, unless they are bowled out before that (unlikely).

Pakistan will be looking at 400-450. Someone will have to bat right the way through until the end of day 5 (like Malik did against SL last year or so ago).

1 wicket and the tail comes in. SA are very likely to get bowled out in the next session

Kallis has looked rock solid throughout though, and Boucher will want to make amends for his first innings. Pakistan have not looked pentrative at all - defensive fields and defensive bowling won't get wickets.

Reaching an awkward situation here. Either outcome (ie bowl them out in the next session or SA bat till declaration) plays in their hands

Its probably why Malik has not bought on Gul or Asif to try and change things. Perhaps a failing with South Africa is that they try and make the game extra safe and bat on unneccessarily. The longer they bat gives Pakistan a marginally better chance of saving the game.

Either we get them out in next 30 mins or let them drag it on a little past tea but try to keep them from scoring fast

Malik is relying too much on spinners.
why Asif havn't bowl at all today ? ang Gul been under bowled too

lets not cry about umpires....Tauful no way favours south africans against anyone .

Boucher goes looking to get on with it.......whatever happens from here it should happen quickly...

If you think there's an australian or new zealander who trying to help south africans , you show a great deal of ignorance....we don't like each other much at all .

Akamla can do one thing very well and that is,"Shabash Dani"

And the legend goes,"The ball is keeping Lowwwwwwww and Lowwwwwwwwwwwwww"

All we can do right now is slow down the runrate as SA is looking to get in excess of 400.

And I can bet if you ask any englishman,if they favour another englishman or an asian,Ok make a guess what his answer will be?

Oh I think you know the answer Saffer, dont you?

No . I don't know what the answer would be . Everyone is different ..... Your assumptions that everyone thinks allong the lines of race says a lot more about your racism than theirs . Ridiculous .

think we shouldn't wait for new ball, jsut bring back fast bowlers now and try to geet them all out ASAP.

Keep bowling the spinners if I were you...south african tailenders dont struggle against pace , but they are useless against spin .

Kallis looking to another hundred....his 26th ...to go with his average of 57 .....

Very "over-rated" indeed .

Not a good idea, if we bowl them out then we have to bat longer. Personally I would just like to see Nel mostly on strike (give Kallis an easy single at the start of each over) and let them crawl to 400 plus.

the will start to hit out in the next 30 minutes or so...they probably have about enough ....

Well Kallis is definately playing for a 100

and that is in a way helping Pakistan

Nel shoould just go for it....nothing to gain by staying there now....hit or get out..

we shouldnt take the new ball this suits us let the saffies kill time and not score at the same time

Would be mad to take the new ball...hard ball could fly around and let the runs flow even quicker...

great idea to have a 2 test series so no chance to come back!

I can bet Saffies are Afraid of Pakistani batting and they dont believe in their bowling too

Also, the small fact that they have more than enough overs left to bowl Pak out on a crumbling wicket

Dude, I am afraid of Pakistan batting. Perhaps with Inzy, Moyo and YK playing together I would have given us a chance to save this, but with the current line-up it is looking unlikely. Harris is going to have a field day :(

as long as kallizzzzzzzz doesnt get a hundred. Doesnt deserve it.

If Nel can make 30 with no trouble at all, our top-order should be able to play on this pitch with complete ease, I reckon Salman Butt and Shoaib Malik should open the batting.

Ok,according to Legendary Zaheer Kallis is an asset for us as we are watching him

Pressure of chasing/defending a huge score does strange things. Wait and watch.

There are 20 minutes to te and Zaheer wants Saffies to declare 1 hr before tea.

Talking about day 5?

They are not chasing but, just need to stick it out for 1 day (90+ ovs) and about 20 ovs today, just hope they can do this and claw their way back into this test match series.
