The numbers even out in the long run and if someone's averaging 27 over a span of 120 games despite playing the majority of them on flat tracks, he's obviously not as lucky or a run leaking machine as some are trying to portray him to be.

People are not known for their intelligence. Afridi was out of the team for 6 months and brought back in due to the people's demands. That says it all really. And like I said before, the numbers even out over the long run and it's 120 games, not 2 that I'm basing my argument on. Clearly he's not as lucky/awful as some would like us to believe if he's picked up 170 odd wickets at 27 in 120 odd games.
