People are not known for their intelligence. Afridi was out of the team for 6 months and brought back in due to the people's demands. That says it all really. And like I said before, the numbers even out over the long run and it's 120 games, not 2 that I'm basing my argument on. Clearly he's not as lucky/awful as some would like us to believe if he's picked up 170 odd wickets at 27 in 120 odd games.

Did you miss the Geo Super led campaign to get him back in the team after he was dropped earlier this year? Fawad is generally very unpopular so I don't see how you figure that he has any public support. The public supports third class hacks like Afridi, Imran Nazir and Shahzeb Hassan, not proper cricketers like Fawad and Gul.
