I hope we push on tomorrow. I can't stand the idea of a repeat of the 1st Test.

Dilshan appealing for everything too.. He's been a real twit in this series

Lol, when Azhar Ali was given out, I swear to you, Jayawardene scared the crap out of me.

Although Ajmal's doing a fine job, why isn't Abdur Rehman out there instead? Do we consider him too much of a batsman to sacrifice at the end of the day. Surely he'd be a better choice, as if he gets out, oh well, but he if he stays, he has the ability to make a decent score next morning. Ajmal, there's less evidence of that.

Saeed to score a big one tomorrow? Lakmal is very easy for me? Anyone?

:ajmal :ajmal

I agree. I was expecting Rehman to come out as well.

They probably thought given that there was less than 2 overs to go, Ajmal had a good chance to survive. Rehman can actually bat quite decently so they probably didn't feel he was needed just yet.

Lead of 150 needed at least I would think, given that we may bat last. A match summary like 240/400/350/ would leave us 190 odd to win. That is about out comfort zone.

exactly 239 more runs today, which was SL 1st innings score.

at close yesterday, PK 42/0. and today we lead by 42 at close

pakistan again could not touch 250 in the day.

239 in 90 overs at 2.65 rpo. :(

I agree that is very poor. We should be scoring 280-300 in a day. This mentality contributed to us drawing (instead of winning) the 1st test and it may do the same here.

We have to get with the times. The days of tuk tuk 2 runs per over were the 1960s. All the top teams score 3.3-3.5 per over now. We are not asking for gung ho 4s and 6s. We are asking for strike rotation...SINGLES, that is all.
