What's new

Pakistan vs World XI | 1st T20I | Gaddafi Stadium | 12 Sep, 2017 | World XI innings

Lol all the mood vacuums predicting a "one sided match" have gone quiet after that over.

Shadab "the superstar" takes the key wicket idrizzy.

Cannot stop laughing at the rubbish people are saying against Hasan already. Saying he's exposed.. Even Steyn got smacked by AB for 30 runs on a flat pitch when he was on his peak. Only if a cricketer was judged by one over.

It's like giving a machine gun to one competitor and tieing hands of other and then hoping for equal fight, and this always ends in only one way massacre. specially in ground like this you can easily have 80 m boundaries it feels even more redicallous

Till 1993 (or 94), grounds in AUS didn't have any ropes, and a direct hit on the fence was 4. To hit a six, one had to send it to crowd - that's 90 metres+ at MCG & 100 metres+ at Adelaide straight and not less than 80 metres any where apart from Adelaide squire boundary.

Short boundary gives a false security, which allows batsmen to go for a free swing. Last year for some reason ECB kept the Old Trafford rope at max & PAK pacers kept on bowling short - none of this dynamic, explosive reborn English hitters had the guts to hook or pull to clear man at 75 metres on line.

Gotta love the guy, only 19, and just has this swagger about him that you can only admire. It's not surprise all T20 leagues wanna snap him up.

He might not be our "best" bowler but he is not a guy you can take lightly.

Leg side rubbish from the "Superstar" :))

Anyways who cares. It's a team game.

Spot on. Shadab is absolute quality.

Firebreaker CT tracks we played on vs SA England n SL when Hasan did well all had bit of seam for the bowlers

Shadab is more of a wanted T20 player than Imad. He's only 19 and will be the best spinner in the world (not solely on rankings) by a clear margin within the next decade.

If you look at that wide shot you can see how far the boundary rope has been pulled in.

The advertising hoardings are where the boundary should be, with the hoardings further back.

Paine would be thinking "only if the boundary was a yard or two even more shorter, he would have got free lollipop six"

Sorry guys, Hassan is all love, but with his handicapped height he will always have very little margin of error, so he will always need to be at top of his game.

Rashid of Afganistan is better than him at this moment i think.

It's all subjective. I do think Shadab will be a seriously world class player, will be a notch below Warne but still be a better bat than him - and as I type this Shadab gets a wicket.

Wow one match and the knives are out.

The guy was an integral part in our CT win. Everyone can have an off day.

Sarfraz needs to chill out, it's not that important of a match. Guy acts like a complete clown when we pick up a wicket. Wish he had bit of class like Dhoni.

Why so bitter? It's exactly this kind of mindset which creates needless team friction. I hate this type of attitude.

I know you see Shadab as a threat to Imad but you should appreciate both of them.
They are playing for the same team last time I checked.

I hate this. The guy has passion and he wants to win every game. Don't understand how you can hate that

Just tuned in to the match online. Not live on TV here in India, even with a subscription of 10+ sports channel ?! Or am I missing out on some channel(s)?
Nevertheless, I am glad to watch some live cricket from Gaddafi!

I appreciate his passion and aggression. And yes, it is a very important match. Pakistan is back home against some fun competition. If they didn't celebrate every wicket I'd be disappointed. It's a day to be happy.

Loved when Shadab got hit for a boundary, Sarfaraz in the back was like "beta bohooth taz ball kara ha.."

Like Sarfraz style or not, he won us our 1st ever Champions Trophy in his 1st ICC event as captain!

I just love this Sarfraz - Shadab combo.

2 most passionate guys to ever play for Pakistan.

The wicket of Jadhav is my favorite in terms of passionate celebrations.

DSport is showing it in India.

mak36 the superstar Shaddy at it again :yk

Completely outsmarted Miller there.

Bowls the legbreak which got hit for six, and instead of backing away he bowls a similar flighted delivery but this time it is the googly. Made a quality batsmen look a little silly.

Shadab is lacking control over the amount of spin.He can spin the ball miles. When he gets the control he will be world class.Rashid being the senior, has much better control on his length.

Love the intensity Sarfi brings. Those who complaining the passion and screams have choice not to watch him

For those of you that have a problem with Sarfaraz being overly passionate, why shouldn't he be?

Playing at home for the first time and that too as captain.

I don't know about you, but I would rather have a captain that is passionate and plays the game with flair than just a dud standing around waiting for stuff to happen.

I thought perera was secretly a Pakistani...

Why are people crying about Sarfraz? Some people have absolutely no shame

Exactly. Who are these so-called fans criticising them? Finally, Pakistan have players playing with pure passion and some "fans" are still complaining.
