There is a serious problem with most on PP here, they want results right away.

1. I've never openly criticized Anwar and Bhatti here on PP.
2. Both Anwar and Bhatti have played way more LOI than Hammad Azam and we've seen what they've done. So why not now give an opportunity to Hammad. Hammad ain't no 2nd coming of Imran, nor is Anwar and Bhatti. At least, Hammad is keeping it at a tight line.
 
Hamad Azam is basically a batsman who can bowl a bit , but Pakistan management is dumb to judge him on his bowling only
 
I was away, just saw that Anwar and Wahab got a wicket each. How was their bowling? Any missed chances? Hows Hammad bowling?

Tight line Hammad could,not have asked for more berter situation to bowl

Hammad has been keeping it a tight line. Both Anwar and Wahab have been disciplined with Anwar pitching it up and inducing a couple edges. Umpire Tiffin robbed Wahab of a clear wicket.
 
Anyone giving Hammad stick needs to remember this is a motorway. Lets be patient before we jump to conclusions

lol, seriously man, I saw many threads where people where begging and crying to have Hammad in XI, and now as usual complaining. Totally forgetting that a medium pacer suppose to keep things tight, which he's doing already.
 
Hammad could be our version of Corey Anderson, he could be a tad expensive and pick up some wickets, and slog for a few overs

He's not meant to be a death bowler. And with that. I'm not going to continue this conversation seeing as you know nothing about the difference between a containing bowler and a death overs specialist.

Yeah they just need him in the middle overs to complete a quota for the 5/6th bowlers spot really and keep things tight

People expect every new player to be wasim. They forget that even wasim wasn't the wasim they remember when he first came on to the scene.

Yeah, couple of deliveries after that horribe decision, the batsman tried to hook a Wahab bouncer and Wahab took a catch off his own bowling.

Motorway or not, he does not have pace at all, same is true for Anwar Ali. There got to be some Venom in your bowling, specially when you are young. They are not Asif type bowlers either. Pretty much nothing bowlers. If you are going to bowl overs in international cricket, you have to have close to 140 pace plus skill, otherwise its just waste of time. Pakistan cannot effort wasting their time on such bowlers...

Its disappointing to continue with Anwar Ali and now we have one more of such bowler. What frustrates me most is that these type of bowlers have domestic avg in teens, absolute noway to filter out good from bad. PCB got to change its pitches, this is no way to develop youngsters !! - kids should be encouraged to bowling fast, nothing bowlers cannot have such a low average, this is not 19th century, its 21st!!!

Asad Ali is the one that comes to my mind. He had beastly domestic stats and he was too slow when he played.
 
Riaz has been excellent. RR of 2.50 in such a game is outstanding. Azhar can end this game if he brings him back for another spell.

Please get Junaid Khan back into the team for the next game, replacing Anwar Ali. There are only so many passengers I can tolerate.
 
Zimbabwe are doing well here rotating strike and keeping wickets. If they get to ~200 by the 30th over then game on

Zimbo is keeping up the chase here... Could be interesting if they don't lose wicket in next 10 overs.

On the flip side, very ordinary bowling by Yasir.
 
Anwar and Sami with Economy rates of 6.8 and 4.6 respectively, looks like they were hit around.
 
One of hammad or anwar will be and should be dropped in next match for junaid hopefully it will be anwar
 
Now I believe that the pitch is flat

Firt hafeez scored a 100 plus srike rate 85 and now going over 6 rpo. This is a certified flat track.

Because he has 375 runs to play with and they're playing with no intent to win the game. You've got to be proactive here and force the issue. If you spread out the field like he has, it's easy singles which is what they want. Just some batting practice.
