Pakistan Zindabad!!! India tapped out before PAF

Pakistan Air Force to get advanced air-to-air American missiles​


An arms contract recently notified by the United States Department of War (DoW), formerly Department of Defense, lists Pakistan among the buyers for AIM-120 Advanced Medium-Range Air-to-Air Missiles (AMRAAM), it emerged on Tuesday.

With this, Pakistan Air Force inches closer to receiving additional missile stocks under United States President Donald Trump’s administration.

According to the US DoW, Raytheon — the manufacturer of the AMRAAM — was given a modification of over $41.6 million on a "previously awarded contract (FA8675-23-C-0037)" on the basis of "firm-fixed-price (P00026)" for the production of the missile's C8 and D3 variants.

The modification, which includes Pakistan among its foreign military sales recipients, raises the total value of the contract to over $2.51 billion.

"This contract involves foreign military sales to United Kingdom, Poland, Pakistan, Germany, Finland, Australia, Romania, Qatar, Oman, Korea, Greece, Switzerland, Portugal, Singapore, Netherlands, Czech Republic, Japan, Slovakia, Denmark, Canada, Belgium, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Italy, Norway, Spain, Kuwait, Finland, Sweden, Taiwan, Lithuania, Isreal, Bulgaria, Hungary, and Turkey," the notification states. It adds that work on the order is expected to be completed by end of May 2030.

Although it remains unclear as to exactly how many, if any, new AMRAAM missiles will be delivered to Pakistan, the development has triggered speculation about potential upgrades to the Pakistan Air Force’s F-16 fleet.

In PAF service, the AMRAAM is compatible exclusively with the F-16 fighter jet and is believed to have been used to shoot down the Indian Air Force MiG-21 flown by Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman during Operation Swift Retort in February 2019. Notably, PAF Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar visited the US State Department in July this year.

According to the defence publication Quwa, the AIM-120C8 is the export version of the AIM-120D, the main AMRAAM variant in US service. The PAF currently operates the earlier C5 variant, 500 of which were acquired alongside its latest Block 52 F-16s in 2010.

Can't say I am a fan of depending on US tech for airforce hardware. If I was an enemy of Pakistan I would just keep engaging them in endless skirmishes so they have to keep going back to the bank and getting further in debt to replenish supplies.

Indian entire air force became vulnerable during Operation Tandoor.

If Pakistan wanted to be nasty, they could've done significant damage to India. But, Pakistan showed restraint. They only shot down 6-7 jets even though 20 jets were locked in as targets.

I think Pakistan should've done more damages to send a message. Missed opportunity.

If it were China, I think China would've damaged India more. For example, China grabbed 2000-38000 sq km of Indian territory since 2021. China is pretty ruthless and unapologetic and India can't do anything about it. :inti

Only reason was the escalation. If the IAF had lost more planes they would have unleashed onto our civilians. With missiles and then yiu can go nuclear pretty quickly. Not worth it. I still think we should have taken out some more, Maybe a couple more..half a squadron of Raphaels would have made the same statement but they killed half a squadron anyway so not too bad. And the psychological and geopolitical damage has been incalculable.

Thats nothing to be proud about. Any military with half an arsenal can hit civilian targets especially mosques and etc. We did so much damage that your IAF cheif keeps blabbering on like a fool and your chief was so embarrassed he had to admit to your failures in public. Just sit down my friend. Seriously.

Anyway, if India escalated, I think they would've been damaged far more than Pakistan. Pakistan is allied with China. India is allied with nobody and their military isn't that great as we saw in the war.

Chaiwala probably thought it would be a walk in the park like Bollywood. He got a reality check. India not just suffered a military defeat but also suffered a PR/diplomatic defeat.

Ever since chaiwala came to power, India suffered 3 military defeats (2019 against Pakistan, 2025 against Pakistan, and conceded 2000-38000 sq km of territory to China).

Pahalgam victims were civilians killed by terrorists. India hit the bases of those terrorists

After gaza now terrorists cannot hide in civilian areas and assume they are safe

Pakistan tried to hit indian civilian areas but failed

You were grounded for two days. Not a single sortie went up after half a squadron worth of planes were shot down and they lost s400 cover. Its hars to accept but unfortunately for you that is the reality. The IAF cant fight a modern war. End of.

Very true and in 54 years they have not managed to shoot down a single PAF fighter. Its just embarrassing. The IAF is a joke.

The psychological scars are the toughest to overcome, their coping mechanism is evidently collective amnesia. Their CDS Chauhan went on record and did a sit down interview in Singapore... The interview is on video!!

Your own CDS admitted it in public. Go and see his interview. Why are you so obstinate? Are you that stubborn. Three of your senior officers have admitted losses. One was even more explicit. Your airforce was grounded for 48 hrs and then on the third day had to stay out of bvr range which meant your bvr was also useless. Complete utter failure and total defeat.

Next time its gonna be even worse.

Exactly. Their own officers have admitted losses yet joshila knows better. Its quite amusing at one time we had the Asian raptor to deal with. We destroyed that myth. Then the rapphaael hota myth. We shattered that myth so badly that it nearly tanked Frances aerospace industry. They are so rattled they had to feed defence media stupid stories like " rapahael locks f22 in exercise etc". Its beyond a joke. They are worried their spectra and avionics were hacked and now are scratching their heads. And we did it all using work arounds and some basic ingenuity.

I cant wait to see the day the j35 lands and we see it in action. God willing next time we take down a squadron of Raphaels and end this mazaaq once and for all..

S 400 is junk. The Russian war machine is making nato shiver in Ukraine.but pakistani Chinese junk fighter is able to dodge meteors barak8 and s 400 all at once

Why will rafale fly with micas when meteors were specifically bought with the rafals

Firstly answer my question. How many aircraft were shot down by the s400. After all thats primary function. Secondly how many fighters did you shoot down. Lets say the raphas didn't have meteor they still had top cover from Su30's and Mirages. Not a single one got a shot off...I will post the link to where the meteor was not used.

You didn't get a shot off. Thats the point. Your planes fired their stand off weapons, then turned to go back. Thats when they got hit.. they didn't see what hit them..we were monitoring everything. From take off..
