Haar me bhi jeet dhoondte huye desperate Pakistani fans
The fact of the matter is, as I said a couple of days ago - PCB has shot itself in the foot with this fake show of bravery.
After being badly beaten on the field on sunday, instead of focusing on improving their cricket, they started whining about silly things like handshakes and post-match comments.
If they really had guts, they would have demanded the removal of Surya Kumar Yadav or even Team India from the tournament. But what did they do? They went after the softest possible target — Andy Pycroft. They assumed ICC would cave in and remove the match referee, letting them parade their “bravery” in front of the local media.
Now reality has slapped them. ICC has made it clear that the referee will not be changed. PCB’s ego is hurt so badly that they even cancelled the pre-match press conference last night. They sent yet another letter demanding Pycroft’s removal, and ICC rejected it again.
With nowhere to hide, the Pakistan team is now refusing to even leave the hotel for their match against UAE.
Meanwhile, the Indian team and supporters are laughing in the corner.
