Looks like a bad injury, knee got stuck in the field and then twisted with the momentum. Obviously in a lot of pain and being helped off the field.

Absolutely.
I really hope Arthur and Inzi grow some spine, and show basic understanding of cricket/bowling.
Amir bowled extremely well today.atleast his bowling figures will not be further dented on this trip: Amir fans.
Amir out for 5-6 months I think at least.
Seeing that reminded me Simon Jones who had his career ended on this very ground after falling.
Simon Jones did not have his career ended with that injury.
He was bowling extremely well in the West Indies/SAF and in the 05 Ashes, helping England reverse swing to victory.
It was at the Gabba when he fell and his career was ended.
Yes and hope they don't make an excuse out of stomach bug / food poisoning.
They guy has bowled 3 out of the 4 best spells of Qea 2016-2017.
That is just enough.
Who bowled the 4th?
for his sake he should have stayed off field Aussie roads may ensure this could be his last series for some time.
economical but not penetrative enough.
another truth is he averages 39 since comeback
another truth is he averages 39 since comeback
It seems that there was a catch taken but not claimed off his bowling today. 40/2 would have been a fine effort given what the scorecard looks like now and could have lead to more wickets. Unlucky.
Is this true?? when?
Is this true?? when?
He's not the last of his kind. There are actually some quality upcoming prospects. The pride and glory of beloved pakistan, mohammad amir is the last of his kind and a dying breed; so honour him, glorify him and revel in his custom while you can.

Name one that can be the next Shoaib Akhtar
I don't know about becoming Shoaib but the fastest is Mohammad Zahid and he's genuinely quick. Among others are Ghulam Mudassar, Mohammad Irfan and Ehtisham. The latter two impressed the Aussie coaches when they toured with Qalandars.
I am wondering whether the exit of Waqar as bowling coach has hurt Amir the bowler along with the others.
There are some decent prospects out there but am more hopeful of finding the next world class spinner
He's fine, he bowled later in the day yesterday.how bad is the injury?? can he bowl today
Why can't the team be proactive and have Rahat and Imran fake injuries. Bring Asif and Irfan in for the next twoo games.
