NEW DELHI: Ferozeshah Kotla seemed a million miles away from the Eden Gardens on Friday. A few hours before Dhoni's men go into a battle for survival in Kolkata, there will be another India-Pakistan game played in New Delhi. At the Kotla, though, life seemed easier a day before the game.

"The security for our team here is relaxed. We are enjoying it," Pakistan women's team captain Sana Mir said. "Do you love playing in India?" The obvious question popped up. Sana giggled, she had read the googly. "Of course, we love playing in India," she started off, then paused, gathering herself "We also love playing back home. In fact, we get love at home more and love playing back at home more because we don't get a chance to play."

She played the one that got Shahid Afridi pretty well.

The nerves around a men's Indo-Pak game, too, wasn't there. The Pakistan team manager was seen making calls frantically, asking to include parathas in their breakfast menu. "We love Indian sarees. Hopefully, we would love to take some time out and go for sightseeing," Sana said, adding: "The two matches can't be compared. Look at it this way - if the two matches were played on different dates, there could have been more importance given to our match."

no firdos Ashiq? who will hit sixes now?:13:

It seems like the writing is on the wall for both mens and womens team of India.

What a start by pak girls, hope boys can replicate this. Go Green Girls, put these blue babes into their place.

Pak team needs to restrict India down to 100. don't think they ccan chase more than that esp after their key player injured.

Bismah will score 100 runs alone.

First time i'm ever watching womens cricket - for those who watch regularly, do they hit many sixes ?

Lol there are certain things which only men should do and cricket is one off them. Women should not play cricket. Sorry if I hurted any women in this forum but thats what I feel.

If Afridi say such thing, then he is the biggest illiterate and out dated person on this planet :)

Indian team broke the highest innings total for womens t20 last match. Keeping them down to such a low score is really good effort.

Why not? The girls are doing a good job out there? I mean at times it can be boring for us guys due to the slow scoring rates but that doesn't mean they sbould stop.

Sadia should not be give the ball again. She has given away 15 runs out of 26

My favourite player Bismah on now. But looks like she is a better batsman.

Nah they should play but it's pretty dire and boring tbh.

Actually because the difference in quality is too much between men and women at that level.
In individual sports such as badminton and tennis female stars are very popular and in some cases more popular than the men.
But in team sports such as cricket, football and hockey the quality in gap is way too much to interest viewers, just my 2 cents. Sorry if you feel offended.

Oh man such a terrible scorecard, ball remaining low and slow everyone under pressure :out

I was so sure we were winning this  Indian eves have disappointed.

Bloody hell, the size of this Jhulan girl.

She wouldn't look out of place in a men's game.

Kaur was our main player in this format we wont reach even 100 without her.

massive over for India. looks like they will reach 100 comfortably..
