Dint some maulvi in some part of Pakistan issue a fatwa that these women should play wearing Burqah?

In individual sports such as badminton and tennis female stars are very popular and in some cases more popular than the men.
But in team sports such as cricket, football and hockey the quality in gap is way too much to interest viewers, just my 2 cents. Sorry if you feel offended.

Look, if that's the only reason, then a simple fix is for anyone who has this opinion to merely ignore the women's games. But to downright say women shouldn't play? That's a bit too extreme, wouldn't you agree?

No one really cares what the maulvis' say. It's the women's personal choice and that's it.
 
Not even run a ball this simple for Pak women just rotate the strike,Pak women team all smiles.

Absolutely, you don't like, ignore it, don't watch.
 
Women's game will grow and will have a market of its own in the near future with the recent start of women's BBL and possibly an IPL version too.
 
Lets see we can score 50 at least. As usual our women batting is even worse than our male's batting

The ECB have announced their 'Women's Super League' that will be played in the coming season as well for those interested.

Overall it's ok, except some nut jobs like in every other country of the world screw things up. For example, the bill passed by the Punjab gov't. It's a good start of a bright future for women.
 
The pads and helmets for Women teams need to be lighter and more protective but i guess sports companies are hardly interested.
 
Why are you guys wrist slitting already. Support your team and just enjoy the match bhaiyo!

Lighter but more protective? I think you'll find if that was possible it would have already made its way into the mens game.
 
I hope they dont throw away this match as they did against west indies. Pakistan batting is not very strong like their male counterparts.

Any news on the coverage? The main problem is the coverage. This match is not being shown by any outlet in Pakistan that I know of.

For Men it needs to cover larger area as well ,i dont think there is any specific company for Women surely there can be research for them alone.
 
This start is like 30-0 in 2 ovrs for a men's game

No broadcasting news announced yet, will be impossible to get them all televised like the BBL though due to the very tight schedule. Imagine someone will pick it up though (sky you'd assume) and try and get a decent amount of games done.
