Also, correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought you (or was it someone else) gave up on Ahsan? Or is he still one to keep an eye out for?

I saw Ahsan playing in the recent OD cup. Didn't look anything special to me. Had a poor fitness on the top of it.

Pakistan isn't going to better their rankings anytime soon because of the love with TTF's. Young prospects like Saif Badar, Zeeshan Malik, Umair Masood and Hassan Mohsin haven't been selected. Pakistan is short of quality batsman. All of these have shown their metal as batsmen on international stage against their counterparts from other top countries yet they don't find even a place in any of the teams. What is the fun of having U19 team then if you don't groom the best performers then.

Had they been in India they would definitely have been made to compete against the best in domestics. But in Pakistan there is no buyer of these talents. Then we say India produces best batsmen.

I don't know if any one among the PCB knows the concept of U19 WC.
