Its a celebration and a party for Cricket's homecoming to Karachi - let it be.
 
Can we stop with ali zafar, one dimensional monotone singer! Plenty of artists in pakistan that can replace him
 
I think it’s too many. Have around 2 singers and do whatever else we need to do then get on with the match.
 
Opening performance, half time show and closing ceremony will be great. T20 is all about getting the crowd engaged and excited. All other leagues like the NFL do it. PSL needs to follow suit. Give fans a reason to come to the stadium.
 
How about getting some Hollywood or Bollywood celebrities as well to perform on stage?

Well Done Karachi Cricket Authorities & Associations for an excellent arrangements for the Final and get it ready almost 40% stadium renovation in such short times. Lahore is proud of you guys and hopefully it will be a great Final.

Seems like no interest in closing ceremony on PP, Pretty sad but expected as in whole PSL match interest ... has been pretty poor

What do u expect PP to be jam packed with threads. People Enjoying PSL ceremony. It will be busy as the match starts.👌
 
Cant get why such ceremonies are necessary in cricket? Do IPL and other leagues also arrange musical concerts e.t.c in their leagues?

Yea I think IPL has opening ceremonies where Bollywood celebrities perform.. Its like they have taken a cue from FIFA World Cup or olympics where there is opening and closing ceremonies..

It’s fine I guess doesn’t harm anyone and some people enjoy it so let then

Its fine for IPL because they can spend their money on such things, but for us where PCB is always crying about money and all, i think there is no point in arranging such thing.

Music do needs in pak because crowd were sitting from freaking 4 hours today so some time for enjoyment for them
 
Wao, that brought those childhood memories of 2003 WC, somethings never get old, those were the days man, the pre tournament hype was amazing, Even though it proved to be a big flop, Aalay Aalay O,,,

Ceremony is their because people have paid alot of money to come watch the game, its T20 tournament which is all about Fun and Enjoyment. Which is what they getting. We are here so can say yes start the match but people their made amazing effort to get there.

I think am pretty much elder than you, 1975 :) And i have watched matches in whole Pakistan (approximately) used to travel via train from Peshawar to Karachi, went to Hyd, Lahor, Pindi, FSD just for cricket :facepalm:

Couldnt't go to Multan though :(
