The Congress and Gandhi family has been the bane of Indian politics the last few decades. And pappu rahul is the greatest thing to have happened to Congress. His presence ensures Modi victory easily! Modi is not perfect yes - but he has achieved in 10 yrs far more than what Congress did in the past 40 yrs with their divisional politics.. Ind is still a developing country and has a long way to.go but the 2023 ind is way better than 2013 ind.
People dont realize especially outside ind how diverse and different ind is from state to state. And that's what makes it so unique. And for such diversity having the biggest and functional stable democracy is nothing short of a miracle. Is it 100% perfect- no but it's always evolving and improving.

TMC MP Mahua Moitra expelled from Lok Sabha
The Lok Sabha on Friday expelled Trinamool Congress MP Mahua Moitra after holding her guilty of sharing her credentials with others and accepting gifts from a businessman to extend favours.
After a heated debate during which Moitra was not allowed to speak, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pralhad Joshi moved a motion to expel the Trinamool member for "unethical conduct", which was adopted by a voice vote.
Opposition members walked out of the House as the Lok Sabha speaker started the voting process on the motion moved by Joshi.
The Ethics Committee of the Lok Sabha had recommended Moitra's expulsion from the House over the "cash-for-query" allegation.

The affidavit on which this punishment was apparently based on, witness wasn't even called to depose in front of parliament ethics committee. Whatever he said, was deemed as gospel's truth since it kowtowed bigot's ways.

Mahua's biggest crime was that she dared to expose bigot's corruption and extremely close links with Adani.

Actually meant for Congress as well sarcastically! As in ultimately it will make other Congress leaders realize that pappu Gandhi and his family are costing them elections and the party needs to get rid of them to have success. Maybe some new young leaders will come up and rid the party of this family which can only augur well not only for the party but the country as well.

At the same time, She neglected to ask questions on :-
1) How Bhairav Singh Shekhawat, congress government in Rajasthan offered 85000 crores projects to Adani in Rajasthan state?
2) why her own Party’s Boss Mamata Bannerjee met Adani couple of times and invited him to West Bengal to bring new projects?
3) After congress’s allegations on Adani, Why Sharad Pawar, NCP leader met Adani for dozens time?
Its funny to see liberals trying to twist this case and making her a victim. The reality is she has breached the Parliament code of conduct and been punished accordingly. She herself accepted of giving the login credentials to businessman for asking questions. Even if she has not taken cash (which I don't buy at all)...she has still committed crime and played with internal security. Not only she should have been expelled from parliament but log her in Jail.

Pappu Ji is currently in vacation in Thailand after losing his 55th election...so lets not go there.
As far as her own party is concerned, not many even in TMC likes her. Mamta Banerjee openly scolded her once in stage for going against party lines. Derek O'Brien is not fond of her either. There was a good chance TMC would not have given her a ticket in 2024 had she remained a MP.

As an NRI my thoughts:
If Congress was in power, we could have done any fraud we wanted especially when you sell properties in India.
We could have sold it for a certain price however on the documents you can undervalue it so get away from paying hectic taxes etc all that is now gone
....
However I understand as Modichayan is doing it for the country, so despite having to pay heavy taxes as an NRI I can swallow the bitter pill.
Have to give it to PM Modi, during his last 2 terms he has brought in more positive changes than what pseudo secular leftist Congress has brought in over the last 30 odd years...

Dhiraj Sahu I-T raid: Cash haul reaches ₹353 cr; MP's old tweet viral
The amount of unaccounted cash found from premises linked to Congress Rajya Sabha MP Dhiraj Sahu reached ₹353 crore on Sunday as the counting finally came to an end while the issue snowballed into a major political controversy because of the involvement of the Congress MP. The income tax department raided the premises on Wednesday and found stacks of notes kept in almirah racks. The counting began but could not be finished in a day or two as the SBI branch where the notes were being counted had its normal operations too. The counting could be completed by the weekend, the staff said earlier.
The I-T raids were at the premises of Boudh Distilleries Private Limited across Odisha, Jharkhand and West Bengal. Neither the MP nor the company has issued any statement so far. The Congress said the party has no involvement in the MP's business and he should explain this huge amount of cash.
The counting created a spectacle as this became the largest cash haul in a single operation in the country. The SBI branch where the counting took place received 176 bags full of cash. Three banks were roped in for the counting process. 40 currency counting machines were brought in. Initially, there was a shortage of machines as the ones in the counting operation gave in.
The counting involved nine teams of about 80 people from the tax department and various banks and they worked 24X7 in shifts. After 10 cash-stuffed almirahs were found, another team of 200 officials, including security personnel, drivers and other staff, joined in.
BJP's Amit Malviya shared a screenshot of Dhiraj Sahu's old tweet in which he exclaimed how there still was so much black money in the country even after demonetisation. "Dhiraj Prasad Sahu has a dark sense of humour," Malviya tweeed.
"I feel pained seeing so much corruption and black money in the country even after noteban. This is beyond my understanding how people can accumulate so much of black money. Only Congress can uproot corruption from the party," Dhiraj Prasad Sahu tweeted in 2022.
"Imagine how much one Congress MP has looted that it takes almost an army of personnel to count the loot. Now multiply it with Congress’ 60 years of power & 1000s of MPs. It runs into tens of thousands of crores. Congress is corruption ki beemari! The disease of corruption," BJP national spokesperson Shehzad Poonawala said.
Union home minister Amit Shah on Sunday spoke about the issue as he questioned the silence of the INDIA parties like SP, DMK, JDU. "It can be now understood as to why the allegation against the Modi government that it is misusing investigation agencies was made.It was because of the fear that their corruption will be exposed," Amit Shah said. PM Modi too earlier commented on the massive cash haul and said it is PM Modi's guarantee that every penny has to be returned to the public.

I am amazed that not many are talking about this. Imagine this was a BJP MLA, we will not hear the end of it. This much amount of black money has not been found in any politician's house ever before in India. Apparently the sum of money is so huge that even the machine used to count the notes broke. This same MLA Dhiraj Sahu was seen walking next to Rahul Gandhi during Bharat Jodo Yatra. These thieves are looting when they are in opposition, just imagine what they will do and how much they will loot if they ever come to power. No Indians that actually loves India should ever vote for Congress...it is borderline treason IMO.

Then during 2019 election, he joined CPM and fought for the seat of Begusarai. He ofcourse lost badly against Giriraj Singh and then jumped ship to join Congress. So from 'Mai Kabhi Politician nehi banunga' to trying his luck in multiple parties aged very well.
BTW, this is not only for Kanhaiya though...the same goes for our very own Arvind (Sheeshmahal) Kejriwal. Used Anna Hazare in 2011, convinced everyone how he hates politicians and how all political parties are thieves, promised he will never join politics, fought for India against corruption against congress and now joining hands with the same congress in India alliance as 2 times chief minister

A JNU alumni once told me that some of its students (those of a certain political type) don't really leave the campus or the hostels even after earning their degrees. They continue remaining on campus, conduct political activity and recruit fresh students for their 'causes', all under the watchful eye and complete support of certain faculty members. These parasites are often the ones responsible for strikes, the tukde-tukde saga and other similar nonsense.

Opposition MPs wanted Home minister to make a statement regarding Parliament intrution that happened on 13th Dec, however the investigation is still underway. Defence minister Rajnath Singh already gave a preliminary statement in the house, so just wait once the investigation is over for Home Minister to make a formal statement. What is the issue? But no, they want to create a ruckus, stop all parliamentary proceedings, all important work...until the home minister come right now. What kind of childish behaviour is this? Remember the same opposition was not satisfied when Home minister spoke about Manipur for 2 hrs straight in Monsoon session of parliament and they demanded Prime Minister to speak. They even called Vote of no confidence by wasting everyone's time. I am sure had Amit Shah spoken here too, they would not have been satisfied and demanded Modi to speak. Probably would have called one more vote of confidence and waste another week of taxpayers money. These are all drama...all they want is disruption of parliament and stop important legislations being passed. Glad the house suspended all these MPs.

BJP MP Hema Malini on Wednesday recited a Hindi film dialogue to say Amit Shah does what he says and his commitment to justice and welfare was laudable.
"Amit Shah ji jo kehte hain woh karte hain lekin joh nahi kehte hain, zaroor karte hain (Amit Shah does what he says, and definitely does what he does not say)," Hema Malini said reciting a famous dialogue from Akshay Kumar movie Rowdy Rathore.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah introduced three redrafted bills -- the Bharatiya Nyaya (Second) Sanhita (BNS), the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha (Second) Sanhita (BNSS), and the Bharatiya Sakshya (Second) Bill (BSB) -- last week and the Lok Sabha on Tuesday took them up for a debate for their consideration and passage.
Participating in a discussion on the three proposed criminal laws in the Lok Sabha, Hema Malini said the centuries-old laws were irrelevent in the new India and that they were made by the British to protect their colonial regime.
"New India is going in the direction of a developed India," the BJP MP from Mathura said.
"While Modi ji is taking the country to new heights in the world, Home Minister Amit Shah is working hard to ensure peace, justice, and security," she said.
Hema Malini strongly raised the issue of cruelty to animals and said that it was still governed by a more than 60 years old law.
"Just like these laws have been brought to protect the rights of citizens and make a crime-free Bharat, in order to protect rights of animals, ensuring justice to them ... the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act has to be done away with and replaced by a new law," she said.
BJP MP Poonam Mahajan concurred with her colleague and called for stricter laws for crimes against animals and bestiality.

Dhankhad is anyone but honorable. He has only harmed the constitutional posts he has occupied so far, first as West Bengal Governor and then as Vice President and Chairman, Rajya Sabha.
