Rishab Pant's S/R is 126 in T20I's.
Sanju Samson is S/R is 133.

The other Keeper Batsmen are not exactly lighting it up in T20I's either.

You have to see how batsmen score when they play anything close to 30 deliveries. More often than not, Kishan lights it up if he plays over 25 deliveries. He is a bit of lottery at the top. When he clicks, he will give rapid starts. Most countries would love to have a keeper batsman like Kishan.
124 strike rate not good enough even pant hasn't done anything in it20 even rizwan strike rate higher than ishan

Ishan has that extra gear which he has shown multiple times.

Rizwan does not have that extra gear. There lies the difference.

Rizwan is much more reliable at the top and gives consistent runs. But he does not take enough risks to destroy the opponent bowling attacks. If Kishan plays the same number of deliveries like Rizwan, the results will be much better. Its all about style of play.

He have extra gear but we are not seen that in it20

He has the ability. You have to take a chance and persist with players. Unfortunately, there are too many keeper batsman available in India and 2 successive failures will put them out of the team. India does not have a standard keeper batsman for T20’s. They went with KL Rahul for the longest time.

An inch of movement he will be totally done. We have better players like ABhishek, Parag.

Parag is not an opener. I want him in the team in the middle order.

An inch of movement, it’s not only Kishan. Most international T20 openers fail miserably. Singling out Kishan alone is not fair. They will all start doing Nagin dance when the ball moves. That is the nature of the game.

Most T20 surfaces does not offer movement even with new ball.

We have Jaiswal, Gill before Kishan. We have seen Kishan enough. He is not evne a proper hack.

Haardick bowling - lot o talk about him not being 100% which is big for rumored price from GT 2 MI - not a fan anyway - 40/4 in 6

Bumrah has one over left

The sensible thing would be to play out a maiden if you must. You will win the game if you don’t give him a wicket

Mumbai Indians defeated Punjab Kings by 9 runs in Mullanpur. PBKS faced difficulties in the chase, but Ashutosh Sharma's quick 61 off 28 balls revived their hopes.

Earlier, Suryakumar Yadav's 78 off 53 balls propelled Mumbai Indians to 192 for 7 after winning the toss and opting to bat first.

Chennai Super Kings added England pacer Richard Gleeson to their squad in place of Devon Conway. The New Zealand opener was ruled out of IPL 2024 with an injury.

Conway, who represented CSK in the last two seasons, played 23 matches and scored 924 runs, which included 9 half-centuries and a highest score of 92*. He, however, never arrived in India for this edition. The CSK management was hoping that the left-hander would be available for the latter half of the tournament but it wasn't to be.

ashutosh sharma better than shashank and ashutosh just 25
I am biased towards shahshank. After such a public humiliation at the auction, he came out and showed a big heart and consistency. Stuff of a hero.

Lucknow Super Giants have won the toss and have opted to field

Lucknow Super Giants (Playing XI): Quinton de Kock, KL Rahul(w/c), Deepak Hooda, Marcus Stoinis, Nicholas Pooran, Ayush Badoni, Krunal Pandya, Matt Henry, Ravi Bishnoi, Mohsin Khan, Yash Thakur

I have to say that CSK has the most passionate fans. Their support is second to none in the IPL. They travel with the team to all their away games. They are there in good numbers at all CSK away games.

Looking at the crowd at today's game, looks like CSK fans outnumber LSG fans.

Successfull team plus MSD effect.

I was hoping Sameer Rizvi showed some fireworks tonight. He is supposed to be an unheralded T20 talent.

111/5 in 15.4 .... after watching those crazy high scores , this is like sloths racing

170-180. This is not a 200 wicket. Low bounce will not let players score that easily.
141/6 & 13 balls 2 go - Dino walks in
I am surprised MSD did not send Chahar ahead of him. If he gets out here, it will damage his average.
His correct net worth is close to $ 150 M & is going neck-2-neck with Virat - pioneer in fixing league & a reasonably shrewd businessman too - after this year , he has to go the Mentor route . 4 & 6 - 154/6 in 18.2

Good to see KL Rahul score close to 200 S/R. With his over cautious style pf play, he has become a liability at the top. He needs to bat aggressively if he wants a place in the Indian T20 squad.

IPL betting is very common in India tbh.

KL Rahul overshadowed Ravindra Jadeja and MS Dhoni's crucial contributions as Lucknow Super Giants beat Chennai Super Kings at Ekana Cricket Stadium. Ravindra Jadeja's fine-tuned fifty and MS Dhoni's brisk cameo propelled CSK to 176 for 6 after the side was invited to bat first. Jadeja smashed 57 not out off 40 while Dhoni hit an unbeaten 28 off 9.

However, all of that was overshadowed by Rahul's 82 off 53 that helped LSG win the game comfortably. On the penultimate ball of the game, CSK took a horrible review. They went for a DRS over a no-ball given by the umpire after a Tushar Deshpande delivery directly crossed over the chest of Nicholas Pooran.
