Man, one of the most cringiest things I've ever seen on a cricket field.
 
The cobra showed up again today when Nabi Islam did cobra celebration twice and then the Afghans did it after winning it the match. Cringeworthy but hilarious to see the banglas getting trolled over it so hard by even Afghans LOL

That's Nazmul Islam's regular celebration that was turned into a taunt.

Others doing it later might be trolling or inappropriate. But Nazmul doing it is just like Afridi doing his star pose.
 
can Somebody post nazmul's gif . I think he does this dance better than anybody else.

The whole team celebrated like that only against Sri Lanka because of the tension between the two teams. It's only that idiot Nazmul Apu who is carrying on whereas the rest of the team have stopped. He doesn't realise how stupid he looks. Someone needs to give him a slap the next time he tries it.

The hell are they doing there? Almost liplocking. I think Muzarabani is a better fast bowler than any bowler Bangladesh has ever produced.

I hope Muza doesn't get injured and keeps his focus on the game. He can be the ultimate blessing for Zimbabwe.

Btw, I don't mind these kind of scenes, it keeps cricket interesting!
 
Don't really see an issue here, didn't seem like he was trying to antagonize the bowler, besides this isn't even a 'naagin' dance.

Its actually more pathetic on the Zim bowler struggling to dismiss a tail-ender involved in a 200 run partnership and losing his cool.

FYI:

Bangladesh player Taskin Ahmed and Zimbabwe fast bowler Blessing Muzarabani have both been fined 15 per cent of their match fees for breaching Level 1 of the ICC Code of Conduct during the second day of the one-off Test in Harare.

Nagin dance here to stay. Yesterday srilankan players seen doing nagin dance.Its quite common now in every srilanka and Bangladesh match.

If you guys remember litply cup, these guys would celebrate every wicket bydoing that weird pt kove where you bring knees uptil chest and march around. They had a bowler whose name was dollar something and he used to do that
 
I personally find the entire nagin dance thing very cringy and feminine. It just looks odd.

I don't see any reason to have a specific celebration. Just focus on the game; try to do well.

The hottest rivalry (with loads of bad blood built up over the years between the players and their fans - which according to @sweep_shot doesn't exist ;)) in subcontinental cricket that easily overtakes India-Bd rivalry (which overtook India-Pak).

Some serious statements (kind of no-holds-barred) came from Angelo in the post-match presser against BD and its players.

A bilateral limited-overs series between these two teams now will be super exciting for neutral fans.

The heated nature didn't exist much prior to "timed out" drama. Not among players.

It was more common among fans. Again, not all fans.
 
Yep, Nidhahas trophy. That's what I remembered when I saw this thread's title.

No one in their sane mind is going to come out and openly say ill about the other team, so Shakib was being diplomatic there in that clip.

Besides it also appears the current BD team does not carry many of those easily triggerable players that seem to have had beef with the SL team (which is also having a vastly different team composition, at the moment).

But this incident today should keep the pyre burning bright for the near future (both from players' and fans' POVs).

Ind-Bd overtake Ind-Pak..... When did this happen? When was the last time Bangladesh was even competitive on the field either against Pakistan or India?!
 
Ain’t nothing quite like the Naagin derby. The quality cricket is very low class but it’s fun as hell
 
Bangladesh has always been competitive against the Lankan tigers. Have seen some great games between these 2 teams. This rivalry is not as hyped as Indo-Pak Clash or the Ashes. But still these 2 teams are worth watching when they are competitive. What happened last night may be against the sportsman spirit but it was according to ICC laws so cant say much about it.

Tigers are not associated with Lankans, it is rather lions. Bangladesh can consider tigers. So it is Lankan Lions vs BD Tigers! The new rivalry! Nagin (cobra) is an additional weapon between the two!
