Physical stuff was over the top, probably Riaz's fault but need to see it again.

I'm not a fan of Shehzad but as a Pakistani fan; you don't want two of your players clashing with each other.

Wahab over-reacted there and got physical with Shehzad. I really do feel sorry for Shehzad; he did not deserve that; he already is going through a bad patch and fans are picking on him as he if he fixed matches.
 
I heard that Shehzad liked a negative tweet about Wahab on twitter. Maybe that's why Wahab was angry and I wouldn't blame him. Shehzad is pathetic.

It seemed like there was more to it, it went too far. Both should get a ban at least.
 
Lol relax people. Sometimes you need a bit of that in cricket for a bit of fun. No need to ban them or anything. Just a fine would be enough.

I feel for Shehzad. Not a fan of him but kid is going through tough times. It was all wahab fault. Hes been doing this entire psl and that too to his own team mates.
 
I think it is a matter of love triangle.... wahab became more close to Afridi than shehzad... :mj

Show us a screenshot of the negative tweet he favourited? Should make sense then.
 
Wahab is over-aggressive these days. No need to scream in your teammate's face after getting him out.
 
Seems like the battle for Shahid Afridi continues. Lala has been continuously mentioning how important Wahab is for him.

Not smart from Wahab. What now Mr Shehryar Khan? Had Aamir done this he would have been banned for a year. Discipline should be for every Pak player not a few guys who do not have many connections.
 
Need a fly on wall.. im wondering what was said. Poss Shazad said sumthing that wahab to exception to. Will never know unless theres a leek

I love aggression, and actually admire Wahab sledging even in PSL but being physical is crossing the line.

I don't have the screenshot and neither have I seen the tweet myself. It's what some people here were saying that he liked a negative tweet about Wahab.

Seemed like Shehzad said something to him and Wahab reacted. Although the camera focused on Wahab more than Shehzad.
 
Judging by slo-mo...I reckon Shehzad said something & Wahab reacted.
 
Wahab did the same thing to Nawaz as he well! He needs to learn something that he'll be getting tons of phainty in the upcoming tournaments!
 
Nonetheless...good signs for Pak that Wahab is bowling well with aggression.

Yeah pics say it clearly. Shehzad is waving his bat at Wahab and being a knob as usual and Wahab put him in his place.

Wahab always seemed like the guy who keeps quiet until tampered with, then he hits you back.

Shehzad has always been the spoilt little brat, can't believe this guy has fans tbh. Needs to be kept out of the team for a long team, his narcissistic attitude will be toxic for team culture.

So Wahab wasn't at fault.
 
Simple rule.. talk sh*t get hit.

Shehzad can go on his PC now and post a strongly worded tweet.. that's all he is good for.
 
Didn't like that, Cricket isn't Rugby - there's a limit and whatever your personal problems are, they should be dealt with off the field and not on the field by making a mockery of yourself in front of the whole world.
 
We still don't have evidence that Shehzad favourited a tweet against Wahab; so someone on twitter needs to upload a screenshot here before making such accusations.

Also, the camera seems to focus on Wahab but let's not forget Wahab physically touched him first - Shehzad on the other hand, raised his bat slightly after Wahab's reaction (not to hit him but pointing at him).

Either way, I am not defending both of them; but I do feel sorry for Shehzad; and you don't want to two players clashing like that; there are boundaries to sledging and aggression.
 
Wahab came forward to celebrate, couldn't see from that camera angle if Shehzad said anything at that point, some saying he pointed his bat at Wahab and then Wahab says something which resulted in a push.

Verbals are one thing but physicality is over the line. Both will get punished.
 
wahab's behaviour in this tournament has been terrible.

First he went after Nawaz and now, he went over the top and got physical.

Both he and gul have been pitiful.

Just saw the vid, spoke too soon. Shehzad was in the wrong, but Wahab shouldn't have pushed him.

Hard to tell who is right or wrong since they gave a shot of Shehzad's back, so you don't know what he's saying from the front or who said what first.

Check Shehzad's twitter likes. The tweet about Wahab is still there. I would screenshot it but I'm not sure if I'm allowed to.

I've only seen the angle behind Shehzad; not behind Wahab... But if true, not professional from Shehzad. Also; we don't know if Shehzad said that after the reaction or before; if before then Shehzad at fault; if after then it can only be justified to an extent. Point is who was physical first? Wahab; and thus Wahab is wrong.

Both need to know boundaries; they are team-mates... It's embarrassing.

Okay, I guess that explains the heat behind the Shehzad and Wahab saga! Good wake-up call for Shehzad as he should have stopped with these nonsense tweet liking a long time ago.
 
Can't people here see or not? Doesn't matter whether there was twitter history or not.

The superstar gestured a "whack you" with his unused bat and Wahab honestly should have gone Harbhajan on him. Loved Afridi's calm and calculated response to the whole mess.

The only claim to fame superstar had till date was him being Afridi's burger buddy and his facial resemblance to Kohli. Just a matter of time before he's returned back to oblivion.
 
Naice...probably practicing to do this on Kohli in the World Cup. Well done Wahab.
 
I don't blame Wahab. It's difficult to control yourself as a fast bowler when your blood is pumping and Adrenalin rushing through your body.
 
Wahab has been shouting at batsmen all tourney. Let's see if he brings this aggression to international cricket as well or not. Anyway good for league, everyone is fired up.

I am not surprised. These things are part of league cricket. It just creates an unnecessary divide in the real(national) team. Gauti, sehwag vs dhoni are the prime example.
 
Camera was focusing on Wahab but he only REACTED.

Nothing wrong with Wahab, although both got physical so both should be fined.

Love the aggression by Wahab.
 
Just saw the video in the OP. This looked ugly, worse than Kohli-gambhir fight at Bengaluru few seasons back.

Whatever the reason may be, it wasn't right of Wahab to physically provoke (a case of manhandling?) Shehzad. Shehzad seemed a tragic figure (with everything that's happening in his professional life) out there and honestly felt bad for him.

Shehzad treated by fans like he has murdered someone. Yea it's all his fault
 
un-necessary aggression from wahab , hope he shows this agression against kohli , warner , etc
