9. Muhammad Irfan - FATA

10. Saad Nasim - Lahore

11. Adil Ameen - Peshawar

14. Zafar Gohar - Lahore

15. Muhammad Nawaz - Rawalpindi

The players announced for ICC Champions Trophy which are not part of Test Squad against West Indies will also join these players for practice.

Anwar Ali and Bilawal Bhatti can scarcely be classed as cricketers let alone all rounders.

The rest of the list is OK.

How come Shakeel Shaikh didnt incude his nephew zohaib ahmed

He is "arguably" the greatest allrounder in the world after Kallis and Razzaq

IIRC a Few years ago posters here used to hype them as the next big thing coming to Pakistan and now both of their names is used as a joke by posters..

How time changes things..

Nothing is probably gonna come out of this. I doubt ant of them will get selected for the national team any time soon.

Excellent Idea... Pakistan need few lower order allrounders.. May be Yameen can work on his hitting abilities and also work on different bowling variations..

Im hoping that Ammad Butt improves as well, he has this macho Six hitting body and with little work on his hitting abilities he can may be the answer to number 8 spot as well..

Yameen is a proper batsman he can be a solution to number 6...

He is in England playing club cricket.

Is he on the selectors radar (who could have given him permission to get some experience in foreign conditions with the aim of blooding him into the international side) and what are Hammad's intentions given how he has been neglected so often perhaps he wants to play in England henceforth and make a living while he's able.

Is a useless camp if these guys don't get a chance at international level.

Hammad Azam is a joke

Cant believe people still put him on the hype train

following on from this:

He averages 28 at a strike rate of 82 in List A's. Khurram Manzoor is maintaining a Bradman-esque average at a 100+ SR in those matches

Less said about his List A bowling where he averages 37, the better

Mixed bag selection... quite typical.

A few good selections like Yamin, Talat, Butt and Badar but they mix it up with Anwar, Bhatti and Nawaz.

I dont think the selectors have a radar :)

Only these are quality potential:

Talat
Yamin
Bilal Asif

All the others are very very poor choices and it only shows we are doomed when it comes to allrounders. Zafar Gohar cannot bat properly, decent spinner though.

They should concentrated on fast bowling all rounders , there are enough spinners who can bat. Imad , malik , Nawaz . gohar , raza .

This is not how you make an AR.

AR is generally someone who is either a world class bowler or batter then adds another skill.

I am hoping for big things from Talat and Fahim.

Lol nasir nawaz allrounder?

I feel sorry for the poor guy, they will end up destroying his career.

Hes a batsmen, not an allrounder

What happened to Kamran Ghulam? Thought I he had a decent domestic tournament? Not even on the radar?

Fahim?

He won't last at international cricket, can't bowl and batting isn't good enough for the top seven.

Bilal Asif got called for suspect bowling action in Zimbabwe then never returned... With his age, dodgy action and less to provide as a lower order hitter... not in the pecking order for me...

Good choices. I will add few more.
btw on Fahim, he is a better bowler than Yamin and one of the few late order hitter we have. Yamin is a proper batsman/strokemaker and a better new ball bowler though.

Asif can whack the pacers decently. His action will be fine.

Hammad Azam is a joke

Cant believe people still put him on the hype train

he got the most inconsistent chances... he never got a series of three games to bat to prove his worth as a lower order hitter/batsman when he was in form... scored 36 and a match winning partnership with MISBAH in WI which was his debut inns....after this series he played 1 match in ireland and then vanished for a year... then vanished for three years... one inns against zim in pak and then again gone...

If he had the chance what anwar ali and bhatti got, he would have done better.. For a bowler like hammad the keeper should stand up close to the stumps, but they stand like keeping against 140 kph bowler... the captain, coach and the team mgmt are not shrewd enough on how to use him... MISBAH repeatedly for a year or two in fear of getting hit and losing rejected part-time bowlers.. The best example was the asia cup where kohli chased 329 smacked the pacers for 150+ runs in less than 20 overs, hammad azam didnt bowl in that match where an attacking captain would have bowled him few overs, to turn the pace of the run chase and who knows could have won it.....

he and amin though possessing talents were the victims of inconsistent selection, silent/defensive captaincy, seniority first culture and now hammad becomes a lost cause and terribly out of form...

lol we saw how good he was against pacers when he opened the inns...have to be realistic , when you say they can smack pacers, they should have the potential to smack bowlers like amir, starc, boult, rabada, woakes, willey etc because these are the bowlers they will face in the end overs when it comes to int'l...

may be he can smack anwar ali, fahim ashraf and hammad azam kinda bowlers unfortunately they dont make the league of pacers..can aaraamseh to do that in domestics and leave the int'l for the players with potential...
