They seem to chop and change their side a lot. Shakib and Tamim by all means are good players by their at best average standards, the rest are all decent at best. I think their fan's are still amazed at them being an international side! They don't have any world class players at all. To gain some recognition and respect from other fans Bangladesh must defeat a few teams away from home.

They are likely to loose at home and UAE against Pakistan in test matches. They will stay at #5- #7 in test matches.

However in Asia they will beat NZ and England comprehensively.

Pakistan Test team is in decline, if WI can push them to limit in the UAE, Bangladesh can definitely challenge them. I hope to see them play in the UAE soon.

There would be enough players to take the test team ahead, Ofcourse Pakistan is expert at producing grinders and there would be batsmen like Salahuddin and Haris Sohail.

Mohammad Asghar, Hassan Ali and possibly in future Shadab look test class material to make sure we stay very strong atleast in UAE.

Why they can't better then India? India have too much resources and are getting better and better with their infrastructure. They will produce 2-3 world class batsmen in every generation, and are continuously improving in the fast bowling department as well. It will be great to see Bangladesh become the new kings of Asia, but I believe it will be very hard for them displace India at the top of the perch.

India won't stop producing spinners after Ashwin and Jadeja, and the likes of Shami, Yadav and Bumrah are good. They are improving in terms of developing pacers. Both teams are similar. Technically skilled young batsmen, good spinners and ever improving when it comes to pacers, but India is a much bigger cricketing nation with more experience and resources.

Shami, Umesh, Bhuvneshwar, Ishant and Bumrah is currently the best pool of pacers for an Asian country.

Bangladesh has a supremely talented guy in Fizz, but the rest are below average or poor.

It is a process. You have competed well against all teams over the last couple of years, the only way is up.

I would love to see them come to the UAE for a test series against us. It would be much closer than many of us think.

Boycie was fair and concise. Bangladesh have had moments but not careers, they have won the odd test but shown little consistency.

In all honesty, across all formats, their progress has been SO slow.
