I would go for Afridi first if we wanna go for pure leg spin right A/R (there is no other in the draft) and then Hadlee then the offie and then the batsman.

Let’s see when it comes to picking the batsman with :butt it can be a lot of banter. But Lara has his own flair - although 75 skill doesn’t do justice to Lara :afaq
 
Also choose your numbers guys for the kit. Also the news just came in that ‘the academy’ will be sponsoring us :wa

Here are a few suggestions for the stadium name: Hawks Arena, Hawks Dome, Bout du Monde (Edge of the world), The Jewel, Ring of Light

We can of course stick to the original as well though. Hawks Fortress.

I personally like Ring of Light and Hawks Arena the best.

For ground dimensions I guess let's go for 75x75? Since we will have a stronger batting at base, the bigger ground should support our bowlers a bit better.

Don't we also need to select ground characteristics? Like bounce, seams, etc?
 
For ground characteristics I would suggest the following and go for a relatively pace friendly ground but also batting friendly at same time (as most of our active bowlers are pacers).

Bounce: Medium
Swing: High
Seam: Medium
Spin: Low
Deterioration: Low

For stadium name, let's have everyone vote - I'm personally fine with anything. Hawks Fortress, Hawks Arena, and Ring of Light all sound good to me!

As for ground characteristics/dimensions, I agree with what you suggest. The logic makes sense. Batsmen can make hay and milk the spinners :malik while our pacers make full use of that swing :nasser :wasim

Even without diamond contract you will probably still play all games, if not all, at least most and have the possibility to boost your skills in certain games.

1) Ground characteristics/dimensions look good. We just need to finalize a stadium name, but again I'll let you guys choose one. Anything works with me - the funnier the better. :butt

2) For player-type changes, we just need to make the one - changing Andy from LFM to RF. This shows how on point our draft picks have been :salute

3. The only thing of debate really remains the contracts, before we are all set to go. Doc, a couple of things - one, we can give the diamond to Andy instead of Mir. PPCL is about promoting youngsters and as a veteran who's been through it all, I'm sure [MENTION=137118]Mir jibran[/MENTION] wouldn't mind playing as a regular player. Besides, due to his activity, even as a regular player he's very much guaranteed to play every single game, and will be first in line to receive any boosts if we do choose to boost and of our bowlers.

Viper and Azzurri as diamonds is pretty much a lock.

As for the last diamond - Doc - I say you take it instead of KU. As our VC and most active member who adds in the most amount of fun to the side, I say it's only fair if you take it. Similar to Mir, KU has seen and done it all so I'm sure he wouldn't mind either. He, too, is gonna play all our games. And in all fairness, your activity warrants a diamond much more than his does.

At the end of the day, it's not a big deal - these skill numbers aren't the be-all end-all. There's boosts etc which means some of us will have a higher skill level in most games anyway. But those are my two cents: Andy, Viper, Azzurri, and Doc for diamond. :)

Sure the diamond contracts sound good to me. I don’t mind either way.

Same for the stadium name don’t mind anything. But maybe we should select top 5 and vote from them just to finalize which one comes on top?
