PSL 2018 Match 28: Islamabad United clinch top spot with comprehensive win over Quetta Gladiators

I dare say Talat is more exciting to watch than Babar.... please don't kill me that is just my opinion :yk

Who’s better Talat or Duminy

Ok sorry forgive me guys :danish

Considering Talat is 22 and duminy is 33,34 with tons of international experience and Talat is giving him run for his money I would say Talat as the impact he has created by sxoring 24 of 10 balls as of now

Come on now, no need to get carried away.

Just don't compare him with Kohli and jinx him even before he begins.

That would kill his career right there :yk

You are mod now it is your duty to keep a check if a poster makes a Talat vs Kohli thread, if he does you have to delete that thread, ban that poster and block their IP.

Just don't compare him with Kohli and jinx him even before he begins.

He isnt the one to be jinxed just like few others of this generation in the form of Hassan, Shadab etc.

Gone are the days when Umar Akmal and Shehzad were the new generation who have easily gotten jinxed a lot of times

Talat's ceiling is miles above Babar. Talat can knock it around or kick it up a notch depending on the match situation which Babar hasn't been able to develop for 3 years.

The only thing I don’t like about Talat’s batting is the way he swings his bat in backlift.

The Phenom is back and toying with Talat.... :rahat:

Aj kal kay bachay think they can play the last air bender :rahat2

Babar’s ability to find the gaps and his timing is amazing.

Definitely needs to add power shots to his weaponry

Now the brutal hitter of a cricket ball Asif Ali comes in.

JP gone, Klusener and Stokes to finish this... nevermind it's Asif Ali

That would kill his career right there :yk

I support this movement!

That's just a feel thing, won't make difference whether he has it or not.

Most noticeable issue with his batting is that head position on the front foot, he doesn't get on top of the ball. Which essentially makes it difficult for him to manage lateral movement, this also explains why his FC record is poor, to say the least.

Mir Hamza looks like McClenaghan. Tha thair style, bowling style and even the face.

Should have just kept it short to Asif. Nearly got a wicket when he did.

Match is in the bag now

Talat showing his talent yet again. Probably the first find of PSL in regards to batting.

This Asif Ali is a handy player. Can hit big and has good technique.

Pak can use him at No.6 as the enforcer.

So Talat should replace Amin in the T20 squad?
ODI:
1. Haris
2. Fakhar
3. Babar
4. Sarfi
5. Talat
6. ?
7. Shadab
8. Faheem (Floater)
9. Hasan
10. Amir
11. Usman

12. SSA
13. Zafar
14. Batsman?
15. ?

we're shaping up decently for the '19 WC, just need to keep Malik, Hafeez, Shehzad etc., out.

I want Asif and Talat both in the T20 squad against WI

The Legend could have bowled a maiden but he decided to end it here because he didn't want to field anymore :rahat

Afridi had the ability to play similar knocks to Talat but he never put his head to it. I'm afraid Babar will also never fully utilize his ability and underachieve.

He could have taken six wickets in his last six balls to win the game but that wouldn't be fair. If the rest of the team aren't going to pull their weight then it's not right for him to abuse his power and win the match on his own.

That is why he was considering the maiden to give his team one last chance to contribute.
