Yeah but he wouldn't fit into the team balance if they manage to hold on to their key players in the draft/auction - which I assume they will try to. Shaheen, Fizz, Rauf - with Salman Mirza. Not sure how Curran fits into the picture.
 
I don’t know what to make of Fizz with Lahore.

On one hand, he’s a good bowler with good variations & is fine wherever you bowl him.

On the other hand, he’s a left armer which Shaheen & Jahandad kind of fulfill the role of. With David Wiese not returning to Lahore, Jahandad should be utilised despite his poor form from last years season. His good ability, just needs to strengthen the application.

I feel like Fizz would have been a better option for Karachi with Abbas Afridi & Hasan Ali.

I think it was Indian masala factory. No official Pakistani source hinted at any sort of boycott, either from their players or from our board.
 
Javed afridi picked a namak haram as direct signing. Lanat on PZ, i hope they lose all their matches.

We have bunch of khabees zaleels who are product of corruption. Ali Tareen father got rich through corruption, insider trading and sugar mafia. Javed Afridi got rich through smuggling and under invoicing. Would love to see the back of these criminals.

What do you mean stooping to indian levels? None of our players have wished death on India.

Afghans can take a hike and play in IPL, oh wait, even indians dont want their dirty terrorist behinds in their league.

What did he say about Pakistan?

They are human beings and cricketers, not terrorist. If he has said something it doesn't mean we must label him and stigmatise him that way forever.

In fact it shows our magnanimous stature towards Afghans.

It’s just a highly unnecessary route to go on atm. He didn’t think this through. I can already see the severe backlash on social media and soon the PCB will scrap this signing. Then it completely destroys our own stance and fight against injustice+politics

If you wanted a keeper+Batter then you just go and sign Liton Kumar Das! He’s probably a better and safer option than Rehmanullah Gurbaz anyways.

I know for a fact that the likes of Javed Afridi do such kind of signings as a signalling on their ethno nationalism. Thankfully majority KPK and tribals are abusing this loser.

These things leak to the media and right now, the last thing Pakistan can afford is a PR fail with the entire Mustafiz being booted out of IPL scenario.

This b.s is on Zalmi Management to even entertain this!

PCB and Naqvi have likely authorised this signing.

After cleaning ICC our next battle is overseas franchise leagues where our players are excluded. We cannot achieve this if we employ discriminatory tactics of our own.

Our public need to be patient and not become deranged like Indian public.

God willing soon Afghans will come back into our fold too. These small things can pave the way.

I agree brother. I’m basing our running joke (with @Rana) primarily on Bilal7, Savak and Daytrader.

Savak is an intelligent poster for 5 days a in a week. In the rest of the week, he’ll come up with imaginary sources and pretend to be a spokesperson for somebody like Rashid Latif.

Saim, who previously represented Peshawar Zalmi, was retained in the Platinum category for a whopping PKR 126 million, making him the most expensive Pakistan player in the league.

Whereas Usman Khan, who is in the Diamond category for PKR 46.2m. Meanwhile, Akif Javed (Gold) and Maaz Sadaqat (Emerging) have been signed for PKR 19.6 and 35 million respectively.

Hopefully Karachi if they hope to have any attraction or anything exciting on the team. I honestly thought they would finally sign the big local kid in Ayub but here we are.

I am hoping for Karachi but my guess is Multan gets both local talent with Minhas bros.

Hyderabad is creating a great pool of players... Saim, maaz, akif is great stuff.. Usman khan?? LOL but he is fine at domestic level so good one here also.
 
Horrible retentions by pindi. Hard to support my home town with this kinda selection.

Again, this fraud Rizwan got away lightly. He’s not even worth 1/10th of this fee

Plus how does Sam Billings who is a proven T20 batter+keeper and a proven PSL performer get paid 2 crore less than him?

Where I don’t think he should go is Peshawar Zalmi, possibly Lahore Qalandars or even Rawalpindi now with Rizwan potentially as their captain.

Wherever he goes, the best place for him would be to play under a captain who is team first mentality. That rules out Islamabad United too.

I think he will enjoy himself and his cricket with Kingsmen with Saim, Maaz and Usman etc. these are good lads
 
For Sameer, you need a captain like Warner to give him the best opportunity. He was brilliant with Saad and Arafat last year. He was also very good to Gilkes and another bloke opening for Sydney Thunder.

Warner is a great captain for young talented players.

Yeah... Hyderabad would be a good place also... Saim, Maaz, Sameer will be a good thing for his own grooming.
