CD (or anybody else), pls recommend a good pair of gloves. Looking to spend less than PKR 1500. Thanks!!
I saw all three gloves today. Here is my feedback:
Bubber sher: looks absolute crap with that cheap glossy super large logo or whatever they have covering Hal the glove. Feels ok.
CA 12000 Plus: looks like its made of extremely cheap material. Feels ok
Ihsan inferno 950: Looks the best but nothing great. Feels great except for the left thumb which is way too tight.
Has anyone used the MIDS gloves?
Everyone has different taste but I said what most people say. Just like you liked Sher Amin gloves I hated them like no tomorrow.
I haven't but I am guessing they would good because a professional player uses them.
Also I have heard that in Pakistan big brands make gloves for many smaller companies, hence, they are similar in design.
They look ok, I'm tempted to buy a pair when I go Pakistan Inshallah
The gloves have white palms, In the beginning they were outstanding, great grip, good isolation etc, but I must say I don't feel comfortable anymore with these gloves. I'm searching for some really lightweight gloves with great grip, any tips bhai??
The pads are really good, still good quality and very light.
I moved this question here as this thread is for gloves related discussion. I hope you don't mind
I guess all gloves get rough and comfort level decrease after good use. However, genuine Pittard palms prolong the life of gloves as they are of better quality.
One good thing about white palm one is that the colour doesn't come off. The Bubber Sher gloves which I have black palm which is not good because it has been dyed and when you sweat the colour comes off the palm onto the grip. Apart from this palm issue they are perfect whereas a slight improvement would be if they use smaller logos on front of the gloves.
Are you after Pakistani brand gloves or English?
I see,
I'm after Pakistani brand for my gloves, budget doesn't matter.
If you want light weight then Ihsan Inferno 950's are the lightest top of the range Pakistani gloves I have come across.
I see,
Thank you very much. I will order the gloves in the next few days, and will give a small review on them (with pictures)
Boom Boom gloves are either in Black/Red or Gold/Black or Blue/Black.
No, I don't think Ihsan has.
If you don't have long hands/fingers then I would say try MB Bubber Sher gloves. One of the best gloves I have ever used, they are impressive! Only cricticism i have is that since the palm is dyed the colour starts to come off when hands get sweaty.Yes, I meant gold/black and red/black. Didn't write black because they are in all boom boom gloves.
Nah it was a steel grill, although since I tried on a Ti22 Elite Combo helmet that was lying around at nets I'm sold on titanium.
Here's the link to owzat, it's 80 notes for a titanium Original 98.

My only reservation about it is that Brendan Denning of Albion couldn't clarify which grill style it was, so I'll be emailing them in the near future.
It's been marketed as the lid Ponting used until they released the Ultimate 98, although I find Albion''s promotional stuff is a bit jumbled since there aren't any images on their site of the new style helmets that Watson's using.
As far as weight's concerned, it doesn't feel like there's as much hanging off of the helmet with a titanium grill.
Methinks I saw the Originals for £30 on Pro Direct Cricket.
Though my main priorities at the moment are a new helmet and an additional bat.
They're £45, not bad. Might try and nab them if they're still there after xmas.
I always use inners because it prolongs the life of gloves
Why do some batting gloves get really wet and sweaty while others do not ? Is it do with the materials/make or maybe that different people using same gloves are more likely to cause it ?
Example I brought some top grade Kookaburra gloves last year, they were fine for a while but then they started to get wet and sweaty after every match - a few friends did use them as well but not sure if that is the cause.I have some MB gloves as well but they don't get wet or sweat at all.
I would say it depends on the palm type. Pittard palm is the one which absorbs the sweat more compare to Calf palm.
There are many different type of palms but as QS Bhai said inners improve this
Bhai, I'm sorry I have been asking so many questions but mashallah you have such good knowledge.
Bhai I wanted to ask how do you know if it's pittard or calf and also which type do the pro's use?
