Btw, truth be told, we are still not entirely comfortable with each other. I doubt if its ever going to work.

The simple existence of this struggle between negation and reinforcement is what qualifies me to be part of this group (which seems just as much a dyade in its composition as its defining struggle). Negation can't be a waste because it attributes a value to a ressource that can never be spent.

What if she decided that she doesn't just get you and that exploring your passions will maybe help her bond you. This leads her to find venues that will allow her to understand cricket but, tragically, her love is precisely what causes your downfall. It's called ironie du sort in theater.

I'm heartened by the direction this thread has taken, after all the insincere 9.75 and 8.9999 ratings. We're now letting it all out, albeit under the guise of jest.

Jee thanks for the compliments. These are certainly more then I expected. You went from boom boom to tuk tuk in quick seconds. Haven't seen this much change since the seasons.

But you see, it isn't so odd. Its like the Misbah sixer. He blocks and blocks and blocks and blocks and then boom he goes. Clean hits too, most of the time. Lulls you into a false sense of security.

Jokes aside, it is out of character for me to attack anyone. I don't know why I said what I did. It was a failed attempt at humor, perhaps, or perhaps an attempt to latch on to the zeitgeist, which lately on this thread had been bluntness.

All those convo's have unfortunately ended up in the dustbin. Whether it's about our encounters with Mary Jane or reminiscing over the merits of early Pakistani pop/rock music. They have been sucked into some mysterious black hole where all legendary threads go to die their natural death. Only their shadows remain, lurking in memory until the memories also fade with the passage of times. All gone to waste with no record of its existence. Convo's remain just that, like tides drifting endlessly till breaking into the nothingness.

Privacy mainly but also it was one of those things....weird, awkward, surreal....almost supernatural. At that time, I guess I just didn't know how to bring it up.

0/10. Disappointed with the above poster. She was supposed to become a civil services officer, but has given up that dream and has settled for something else. She would have made a good officer.
 
8/10. Always goes against the grain but I guess that's what makes him intriguing to listen to. Makes the TP forum infinitely more fun as he comments on essentially everything and it's always something contentious. Wish he would transfer the form he shows in the TP forum to the Cricket forum as well. Good poster.

Let's be honest, nobody is really ready; we'll just have to loosen our standards. Take [MENTION=136108]Donal Cozzie[/MENTION] for example. He has been drifting away towards sapiophobia recently with his love for some show called Death Note and he looks not nearly brooding enough from his photo. But that is precisely the reason he needs someone to take him under their wing and teach him their chevaleresque ways to bring out the potential that is obviously there.

Sorry man but you dont know what kind of garbage my friend was saying. He despises cricket and how its the only sport India really plays, so he used the ISL as an opportunity to get really vocal about this and that. Then Kerala lost in the last minute :yk

For the record I actually watched a game of the ISL and thought it was pretty decent, but man my friend....he was really annoying :))

^^ Very clear with his thought process and sounds like a gifted person. Quite a realist, but takes his realism to a rather depressing level at times which his fellow countrymen find quite annoying. I personally enjoy that part, so 10/10.

8/10. Very well informed in regards to domestic cricket, and although I find myself disagreeing with a few of his views, I admire the fact that he's not afraid to think outside the box and present his views in a well-thought out manner. Case in point is his recent thread on Babar Azam.
