Shoaib has done extremely well on his comeback.

Looking in good shape, bowling decent spells and taking top order wickets with awesome deliveries.
 
someone else can do the maths but i make it that shoaibs current strike rate in this tournament is a wicket every 20 balls ?

Awesome stuff and just what you want from a strike bowler
 
umar amin looks to be developing into a multi-dimensional cricketer

Showing why people hold him in such high regard
 
will be a major feather in cap for both Akhtar and Amin if they can get Federal Areas to the Final of the Pentangular

Imagine a pak bowling attack in england of irfan, akhtar, aamer and asif !

Imagine a future middle order of umar akmal, umar amin and fawad alam

May have been mentioned before but Umar Amin get's another half century.

The lad's may just be beginning to live up to all that OTT hype that surrounds him.
 
Its Amin's bowling which has been impressive, I thought he was going to get smashed all over, just picked up a wicket.

A few slowish loosners, no damage done though - 2 dots.
 
6 off the over so far, Akhtar bowled a bouncer for 2 and then pitched up a slower one which was slogged through midwicket.
 
Good finish, a bit quicker and seamed away. Played off the backfoot off the outer half of the bat for no runs. 6 off and drinks.
 
Very quick bouncer from Shoaib, batsman tries to hook.. is about 2 seconds late on it.
 
you should've seen the way his bowling action changed just when he was about to bowl the yorker! Complete perfection!
 
BALL OF THE DAY!
Shoaib yorker rips out middle stump, reverse swing and lightning quick. Commentators say its vintage Akhtar.
 
The Nazir ball would have been hard to outdo but he just did! That was almost unplayable!!
 
:akhtar cleans up the batsman with his trademark inswinging yorker to pick up his 3rd scalp of the day...
 
yorker bowling a player who has played 50+ deliveries..... is akhtar really back?? u guys think he will be selected in the near future (barring injuries aaoudubillah)
 
Immad Wasim bowling well now too, plumb lbw turned down. Very one sided contest this thanks to :akhtar's new ball spell.
 
I didnt watch his first spell today,how did he bowl in the opening spell...?:13:..Scorecard says :iamlegend b :akhtar...
 
Shoaib's in yorker mode atm. He's like a terminator, eying up the base of middle and putting it there.
Another yorker stabbed out, no ball though so its free hit time.

despite being a bit expense he bowled a good line and length apart from a couple loose balls. Was bowling about 87.37289 mph :) faster then last match defo. His ball to get both wickets were really good but his ball to ball Nazir was immense!! :D
 
Batsman goes for the scoop, Shoaib bowles a yorker very wide of off to stop the shot, keeper should have stopped it - they take 2.
 
Oooh, double bluff. Akhtar throws in the bouncer, big top edge goes nowhere but lands safely.

It was being shown on justin but seems to have been taken down. u might wanna keep an eye there incase it re-appears :)
 
And the overs finally finished. Akthar counters the final free hit with a slowy which goes through to the keeper who rolls it back to Shoaib. Shoaib then tries to show off his football skills with some keepy uppies but fails. :|
 
PP on, Akhtar taken out of the attack. Will be spared for the death now.. if needed.

Ohh okay. Right now they have recorded ones over there. I saw Akhtar bowing in that and honestly he looked really good in terms of fitness and pace

the justin.tv link has stopped working but Shoaib Akhtar bowling was a joy to behold
 
Am I the only one who noticed that Shoaib looked uncomfortable and was bowling off a shorter run-up just before he was taken off?
 
No, I noticed that too. Shorter runup.

Had lovely rhythm today though, he's a sight to behold when in full flow.
 
Rapid bouncer even in his 9th over!! but given wide...akhtars not conviced

CLASSIC SHOAIB!

It feels so great to see that from him again. The CLASSIC reverse swinging yorker by him, very pacy. Middle stump uprooted. Beautiful delivery, would get the best of the best of batsmen.

Lovely bowling.
