This is the last of the group games.

BBC: Not sure how competitive it will be though, as Sindh and Baluchistan have already qualified for the final, regardless of the outcome of this game.

Punjab win toss and bat, Nasir Jamshed captain

no imran farhat

Huge swing from Anwar Ali first up, gets Nasir Jamshed, good catch by Sarfraz

Anwar Ali moves alongside Talha on 9 wickets so far in tournament

however Talha economy in 3's versus Anwar over 5's

5.2-2-18-3.17

Anwar bowling well, Stallions stagnating Punjab Stallions 41/3 (10.4 ov)

2 ducks ..

Dolphins chasing 200 to win. Shahzaib Hasan and Khurram Manzoor batting. 0/10 after 2 overs

Danish Kaneria destroyed Punjab Stallion with 6 wickets. :danish

And Now Dashkara is destroying Punjab Stallions.

Commentator saying Boom Boom Shahzaib.

Shahzaib V2.0 looks pretty good. It's like someone pointed out all his flaws and he's TRIED to correct them (still a few faults but he's improved). At least he doesn't put all his weight on his bat anymore at the Point of delivery and he's added the forward defence of fast bowlers to his shot book. :))

Ooooh, that looked plumb. Not given. Hassan appealed for an lbw Vs :shahzaib..

If Shahzaib becomes highest scorer in this tournament, then it will reflect a bad impression about Chief Selector Mohsin Khan.

Sindh Dolphins are 66/2 after 14.2 overs.

Need another 134 runs with 8 wickets and 35.4 overs left. Should get there.

Khurram Manzoor has been impressive in this tournament so far. Gritty but effective - a good foil for Shahzaib.

Khurram Manzoor is the definition of a domestic bully.

How can you not stop a dude that has no balance at the crease any time he plants his front foot forward?

Heck, his front foot is usually in the air so there isn't even a case of 'planting' it.

Hasan Raza troubling Faisal (good player of spin), in fact he was all over him in that over.

ball 1 Defended back down the pitch
ball 2 Drives upishly, sliced wide of 3rd man. Gets 4.
ball 3 PLUMB LBW! That was struck low infront of middle and was hitting the middle of middle, missed sweep from Iqbal. Dreadful umpiring.
ball 4 Oooh, this time beaten. Drifts in and turns away. Appeal for caught behind. Close to the edge but no cigar.
ball 5 Back of a length, Iqbal tries to drive off the back foot. No timing, dribbles to cover.
ball 6 beaten VERY close to the edge, big appeal not given

Raza Hasan you mean! :)))

The other one is the Karachi batsman ;-)

Agree though that Raza is a great prospect and Faisal is a good player of spin.

Hasan Faisal Round two. Iqbal looks to sweep and is VERY early on it. Gets a top edge but soft hands so it doesn't carry.

Next ball is a tempter, Iqbal plays and misses a drive. Appeal for a stumping but not out.

Another failed sweep, looks to get it past fine leg but it drifts away and goes nowhere.. dot ball again.

Arm ball, driven off the back foot for one. Finally.

Lol yeah, that's the one. :p

I'm sure I'll become familiar with his name soon enough though, looks a superb prospect.

edit: The commentators have also been calling him Hasan Raza from time to time. Just did it again. :))

It appears all pakistani batsmen struggle against left arm spin.

I didn't watch the match today. I just tuned in to Geo Super to see how Shahzaib and Asad Shafiq fared today. Just got to know Shahzaib's run of fifties was put to an end by Raza Hasan; and Faisal dropped Asad today.:(

Faisal should have been the one dropped. :pissed:

Faisal is a smart man. Who in their right mind would give a chane to a younger and most likely a better batsman when you are fighting for the same spot in the national squad? He'd make a great captain one day...

Faisal is the only batsman from the Sind dolphins who has not performed well during the tournament. Everyone else (not from today's line-up) has scored one fifty at least. Faisal probably wanted to gain some form before going into the final.
Since the result of this match has no effect, he wanted to give a game to all those who have sat out in the previous games. He dropped Lal Kumar, Hasan Raza, Tanveer Ahmed and Asad Shafiq. Asad is the unluckiest of them all as he wasn't selected for the first match too! He's played 2 matches and scored a fifty on both occasions.

:malik Faisal denied Asad of a chance to show his skills to the world

This Sindh team is too strong. Even their backups are stronger than some of the regulars on other teams.
