I agree that Bangla brothers were lucky to have landed in top 8. That doesnt negate the fact that we still had world’s top 7 teams competing. I know the tournament has left a bad taste in the mouths of Pakistan and England fans, but it is still an interesting excitement competition.

Doesn’t matter to be honest. Other sports also have tournaments in addition to world cups.

It is sad that some of the audience are happy with mickey mouse leagues.
 
This CT is India's to lose. It is a balanced side and the way they have controlled the middle overs with their spin attack gives them an edge over the other teams. Australia will need to restrict India to under 250 to have any chance of winning.

What balanced side lol India virtually has no pace attack. Shami is useless with this fitness. Arshdeep, Rana are rookies. Pandya is opening bowler. If someone suddenly starts attacking pandya or shami INdia will lose the plot big time.

I am sure they will have a plan against Travis HeadACHE and co. Attack with spinners early and don't let them settle.. Shami did not take wickets but he conceded just 15 runs in his 4 overs against NZ. I would take him over current Pak pacers!

Even PAK team is also lucky to be among 8 teams. SL & WI could have been there in place of East & West PAK. I am sure there are many chances to SL to lift the trophy in case if they are in CT 2025. They have many mystery spinners and it is very difficult to pick them up. India is lucky that they entered in to SF and this is purely due to the absence of SL. WI is also having good spinners and they are highly unpredictable and can beat any team on their day.
 
Rohit needs to bat sensibly and not throw his wicket away like he did in the 2023 WC Final. There is no need to hit every ball in the air!
 
Hope travis tulla gets ultra mad today and schools indian plumbers.
Sehri will taste better if india loses.
Will be fun seeing my india supporting friends crying and wailing after the loss.

Head is not a tulla by any means, he is a proper and dangerous batsman who can snatch the game away from the opposition in a few overs. And Indian spinners are not plumbers.​
 
No he is a certified tulla.
Any decent bowler with brain cells will get him out in a matter of few deliveries as he was hexillion technical flaws.

Not in terms of trophies but as a batsman.
Also remmember that head has a good batting linneup to support him but apart from saim rest of pak players are complete duds.
 
Some tense fans here. If India were not in the semis or final i wouldn't even be watching let alone praying for some other team to lose lol I couldn't care less.

I can understand Pakistani fans primarily due to team politics, but has india done to you?

Tulla batters are blind sloggers like haris, or wi batters. Not proper batters with proper cricketing strokes.

India has been a great ICC tournament team in the last 15 years especially in this format. Even when Indian fans are pessimistic they get to the final. Third CT final in a row.
 
Next time don’t organize a tournament in Pakistan when it rains. Stick to Australia/New Zealand for January - April.
 
I thought we would lose in the knockouts due to a poor pace bowling attack, particularly with Shami not being fit, and our middle-order batting against spin. But all of them proved me wrong.

Well done to New Zealand too, only India could have beaten them.

The gulf in class between these two sides and the rest was quite visible throughout the tournament.

Yeah I am amazed by NZ especially how good they are in playing spin and also the quality of their spin bowlers. Best SENA team of late to play in the subcontinent.

When @Nikhil_cric talked to me about how Australia had an advantage against India in wc 2015, and wtc due to home and foreign conditons, did I complain?

No I reveled in the unfair advantage given to me. Imo from now on, wtc should be moved to Australia on a full time permanent basis rather then England and all world cups should now be played in Australia.

Also your women cricket still sucks. Our women win everything to appease their men.

australia 2015 team was too good in those conditions. even if they play in asia i still think they would have won that year

Poor Indians, can semi dominate in odi and t20 but still lose BGT, wc 2023, wtc 3x in a row and can only dominante in accordance to 50% gender strength while aus has 100% gender strength
 
What's hilarious is that Indians xouldnt even be the first to score a 200 score in odi. The men got stood up by Belinda Clarke 🤣🤣🤣

World cup be it men or women is the ultimate tournament.

And aus have won it 7x, with England 2 and Nz 1. Guess how many times India has won it 🤣🤣🤣. 0. Certified minnows.

Now I'll be eagerly awaiting an 8th title win in India. It'll give me vibes of 2023 except this time, India ain't even reaching semi's 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣.

This is aus year, 2025 women wc is ours. Wtc is ours and Ashes is ours.

India men + women = 7 ICC Trophies.

Australia men + women = 23 ICC trophies.

^^ This whole planet is filled with men + women. To continue life and increase population count you need both genders, yet it seems India ain't pulling its punches equally 🤔

The irony is that Australian women have won more trophies then men. That shows how well the women have punched up their weight and honored their counterparts with respect.
