Reports: PSL 9 to be played outside Pakistan?

As per a media report:

PSL 9 may be relocated to Dubai

This has prompted an urgent meeting of the PSL Governing Council which is scheduled for September 25.

The sorts of challenges which are faced by PSL franchises include but are not limited to overlapping schedule with leagues in the UAE and South Africa and the effect of foreign players preferring other leagues.

PCB may decide to relocate PSL 9 to Dubai, citing expected elections and local administrative expenses but franchise owners will not like that idea as it could prove detrimental to the league's future.

Why take it out of Pakistan after spending so much time/effort in bringing it back.

Pakistani elections are of just one day, counting gets done by 2nd day and results are declared.

Indian elections i understand are a big hassle. Stupid stuff from PCB and the government.

Much like the country, Pakistan cricket is a continuous mess.

We see India zoom ahead while we host our Asia Cup in Sri Lanka and play our PSL in Dubai. Controversy follows Pakistan everywhere it goes.

History will show that guys like Misbah and Babar were quite frankly underrated. It is no small feat to bring consistency and calm to a land of chaos and confusion.

You should know that these elections will be rigged and they will expect a reaction from the 75% that hate this mafia and the Junta Because even Stevie Wonder can see that IK will win but he can't be allowed to.
