Can we now conclude that PPP and PML N leaders have wiped the floor on this one as far as the PTI leaders are concerned?

Zardari spend 8-10 years in prison and he was tortured as well but he remained defiant. A lot of PML N leaders have spend 6-12 months in prison but they remained loyal to Nawaz Sharif.

The same PTI leaders who are now abandoning IK are the ones who advised and pushed him to dissolve the Punjab and KPK assemblies.

Offcourse.

PTI leaders couldn't stand jail..

PPP were whipped with lashes, zardaris tongue was cut and spend 10 years in jail.

And PTI just ran away.

Here is Zardaris speech on NAB, and today he has been proven right

Why do you think PTI have run away?

There are many who will step up - infact this is how organizations improve themselves.

I am afraid you are mixing up your wish with reality.

PTI is IK - as long as he is there, people will gravitate around him new leadership will arise - and that is just a fact. Painful one for some.

Let's be honest these PTI politicians are a bunch of cowards. 1-2 days in prison and they start crying.

Rana Sanaullah spent 18 months in jail on Imran Khan's orders in a completely fake case(Fawad Chaudhry later admitted on live TV that the case was fake and made by the PTI).

well zardari did said that for all the talk PTI wont be able to last 2 days in jail when NAB comes after them..

And thats what happened exactly, two days in remand and they are quiting.

This is why PPP and PMLN are political parties and PTI was always a cult. Cults break apart very easily. Credit to Pak Fouj for this!

PTI’s lack of roots was also going to backfire in the long-term. PTI, like MQM, is a fan club of one individual. Without Imran, PTI has no existence or relevance.

With Imran’s political career all but over, all these politicians who have no connection with PTI and no interest in what it stood for or what it means to the supporters are jumping ship.

They joined PTI for their personal interests and not because they wanted to change things. This is something that PTI supporters refused to understand but they are witnessing it unravel before their eyes.

Imran compromised his manifesto and the ideology of his party by welcoming such turncoat politicians because he realized that he cannot win elections without their vote banks.

These people did not represent what Imran stood for and what the PTI supporters believed in. This was never going to end well.

Individuals don’t survive but family names do. PMLN and PPP have been able to survive became they operate like a family run business while PTI only exists because of Imran.

I am now beginning to see the reality of the situation and your post is a perfect summary.

Do you think IK should designate his sisters, nephews to take over the party once he is out of the picture?

Shah Mahmood Qureshi was number 2 in the PTI and for him to abandon the PTI in this manner based on just 1-2 weeks in jail is very telling. The saying you can never doubt the loyalty of family, blood over outsiders is proving to be blatantly true now.

They may have survived because of family limited business but they will never ever gather support from hereon. Their chamches will stay and pick bones thrown at them. 80% of awaam will only abuse the family limited business going forward.

The crooked family business has been exposed!

100% man. Very well put.

The only slight difference in opinion I have to this is that many of the PTI grassroots did understand this. I know this personally but they thought Imran had a bigger game plan OR they convinced themselves it was a political necessity.

Imran should have groomed his sisters, nephews to be able to take over the party after him. It is a reality in Pakistani politics that you need to have a family connection to keep the connect of the party with the masses going.
