Big stage, Big game, against Big(most destructive ) team.

Can he prove himself, or will this be his last ODI?

it only shows poor planning by PCB, sohail khan should have been recalled, rumman raees is a good option, but in such a pressure game and in a semi final, you simply dont debut you players at such a big stage

have not seen much of rumman raees, so cant really say if he is good or bad but his PSL performance was good and shadab, hasan, fakhar all picked from PSL

I hope he does well. He obviously performed well in PSL. Did it for Islamabad United in pressure situations. Has played for Pakistan before. Rumman can do a good job. I think he'll do okay.

Honestly I fear at the start that he may go for plenty but he has done a very good job.

Well done today. Not as good as Amir, but he bowled well with new ball and old ball.

He should be in the squad always as the fourth pacer after Hasan, Amir and Junaid.

Not a first choice in the XI though. Unless he improves his batting and we decide to play 4 frontline fast bowlers.

People like to degrade who they don't like before they even debut, I always rated Rumman and I'm happy he did well today, he's not as slow as people say, bowls 135 pretty consistently and is good at the death.

Excellent Composure shown by Rumman Raees. First Odi, Mini World Cup Semi-final and he held his nerves.


Given the type of Coach Azhar Mahmood is He will run after him in 2 months off season camp. He will get him trimmer and will work on him technically to make him 5-7kph quicker.

Wasim & Rumman have both proved that Rumman is a workable lad, someone who wants to learn and improve.

Good strong debut.

So no I am not in favor.

Doesn't matter whether or not Rumman plays in the Final, he should be in the squad as 4th pacer moving forward.

Ruman should be in the final, he's a potential star in the making. He reminds me of Hasan in many ways (can hold a bat too).
Amir-Junaid-Hasan-Raees-Shahdab/Fahim.

Very tough call between Shahdab and Fahim. For a variety heavy attack, I may be inclined to go with Shahdab, but since India will score 300+ on the road of a track- may need Fahim instead.

We have seen Imad being ineffective against India while Shadab was our best bowler in that match. Personally I would want Amir to come in place of Imad, but that would weaken our batting on paper but in reality Imad wasn't producing anything with the bat anyway. Unfortunately our batting is thin and I don't see a way to fix it at the moment.
