I agree. I am not denying that. Naseem has high level potential to be a future superstar. Shaheen has declined post injury.
Rauf is good but leaks too many runs. Our 3rd and 4th pacer in my opinion is better. Their first 2 are slightly better.

Indian pacers were impressive yesterday - I won’t deny that. As a viewer it was good to watch.

There was a lot of movement available in this match. The only Pakistan pacer that utilised it was Naseem - he could have had 2-3 wickets in his opening spell if our slips concentrated on catching the ball than looking at each other. Shaheen wasted good conditions. However, what I will say is that he was disturbed by the approach of Gill.

Naseem was still getting movement on the reserve morning, but our overly cautious captain had no slips and even then didn’t look to attack. He was more interested in squeezing Iftikhar’s overs. A couple of wickets would have been the difference between a 270 score and a 350 score.

And it’s these things that were the difference that made it such a thumping.

1. Captaincy - ridiculously defensive
2. Poor slips and fielding
3. Batting approach. Yes Bumrah and Siraaj were bowling some unplayable deliveries, but not at any point did the batsmen try and put them off their line or length by coming down the track or disturbing anything. They were standing in the crease like sitting ducks.

I’m not saying that was the only difference. Our batting is so poor (Rizwan at 4 lol) that it probably wouldn’t have made a difference to the result, but it may have been a competitive game. Instead it was an absolute thrashing.

With regards to the bowling attacks, in different conditions Haris Rauf provides a lot more with Raw pace than pandya / thakur.

In conditions suited to swing then India’s attack is more effective.
