Its clear that Pakistan cannot handle the pressure of chasing especially in world cup games. Regardless of whether the target is 350 or 240.

Should Pakistan going forward just opt to bat first regardless of how green the pitch is?

🤔 May be but the conditions were there in favour for Bowlers, we lacked good opening spell from shaheen, it happens its game, sometimes it pays off sometimes it doesn’t.

We lost the game, aussies didn’t win it.

Yes we should bat first regardless we are more at comfort zone.

Next Game against India, i dont mind this loss because Pakistan will be going in with a must win situation it could work in their favour.

Today just proved it, pitches today aren't what they were like 20 years ago. Aus handled the conditions easily. Pakistan just can't chase and total was only par.

I think batting first may suit us in this WC, chasing hasn't been easy this tournament but bowling first today was the right decision as it was overcast and rain was expected so DL may have come into play.

They could. But they will more than likely lose the game by 5/6 wickets. Unless they're able to score 330+ everytime.

Our bowling simply is not that good enough. Wahab/Amir saved us but DO not forget the first 30 overs where Warner/Finch got feeded short balls. Was that the first time? No, we are pathetic with the new ball.

In the modern era the team that can not chase can't be consistent performers. It's as simple as that!

No not at all. On a seaming track our pathetic batting will be dismissed for 50 runs.

I have been saying for the at least the last decade. Pakistan should always bat first no matter the conditions.

The moment when Pakistan bowls first, the match is lost already. We are the worst chasers.

Does this mean we are going to forgive Wasim for 99 World Cup final?

Had he bowled first Australia would have probably scored 340 and Pakistan would have been bowled out for 160. It would have been much more painful to watch.

It was the correct decision to bowl 1st judging by the forecast. Our bowlers sprayed the new ball all over the place allowing them to make a decent start. We couldn't take early wkts and dropped doddle in the field and they made us pay.

Sarfraz made tactical errors by utilising all our quick early on in the innings.
Our batting also failed miserably in the mide no one got a big one mostly 30s and 40s and we gifted 3 quick wickets in the middle. What were you expecting?

When you have Mohammed hafeez and you have two left hand openers you should bowl first
