In light of actions taken in India, is it time to answer in the same currency or will that be a petty and useless gesture?

Our cricket is interesting - Test ODI or T20.
Kohli, Dhoni, et al are household names even in Pakistan, so it won't be a fun move for the Pakistani cricket watching public, or they'll find a stream somewhere anyway.

No Pakistani I know watches Indian games, heck most Pakistanis sometimes barely watch Pakistan games. Noone wants to switch on the TV and see us play in an empty stadium with 10 howling people holding a stuffed toy. I love Kohli, probably my favorite player at the moment but I don't think I'd put on a stream just to see him. Nothing to do with hate, just a simple fact.
No one cares about Kohli and Dhoni enough to go and watch their streams. Its mainly their personalities, not Indian cricket. The fact that IPL rights went unsold in Pakistan last year is a proof in itself that Indian cricket is not sellable to anyone (outside India or their NRIs like you!)
Interestingly, PP has been inundated by messages from Indians on our Facebook page. A lot of guys are wanting to know why DSport isn't showing the matches and are asking for alternative options. Some asked for PP to stream the matchof course that isn't possible.
Fair enough then. In that case, a ban will have little effect.

Ofcourse I didn't mean to be aggressive, you;re by far the best Indian poster here who posts not to troll but debate.
When a dog barks you do not start barking in reply. India is barely ever discussed on Pakistani media anyway. I don't think there is coverage for IPL. There was one anti-national channel, GEO, that used to air Indian dramas a few years ago but seeing how nobody watched them they have pulled those.
IPL banned Pakistani players 10yrs back. I guess that tells you how much they care about the Pakistani audience.
Yeah maybe that's why IPL tried to sell viewing rights in Pak every year until they went unsold last year.

He certainly cares about our audience, this guy spends more time here than I do![]()
Whats wrong with you guys? Calm down.
Who made you the Moderator acting like the Dalai Lama last 2 days?![]()
Does anyone in Pakistan even watch IPL? The rights wouldn't have gone unsold if there was any interest.

Not really.
Barely anyone watches the ipl in Pakistan
Indian content has had a major role in the poor content that has been coming from Pakistan in the last decade on TV that is.
Everywhere you see it is only indian shows, serials, songs and movies being played which in retrospect killed the Pakistan entertainment industry as people were brainwashed by "saas bahu" "women and people turning into snakes" types of serials which then Pakistanis have imitated and made their industry worse.
Only a few people I know have done some really good work over the years and it is about time there should be some restrictions on the indian content being filtered through to Pakistani televisions as it is no Pakistani channels are aired in India.
Agreed 100 %. Similarly, our news channel are following Indian pattern and are regressing every day.
Few years back, PTV sports asked to postpone a domestic game (Quid E Azam trophy I think) to accomodate IPL final coverage. IPL is a money making machine everywhere.
So when you want find a reason for the poor quality of your own pakistani content it is due to Indian shows that is shown everywhere. But according to other posters above no one watches Indian content. Make up your mind. There are millions of Indian DTH connections in pakistan. Transferring money to those channels through thugs itself is a huge business running into 100s of crores. So yeah there are lot of people in pakistan who watch indian contentIndian content has had a major role in the poor content that has been coming from Pakistan in the last decade on TV that is.
