Should the caretaker Government in Pakistan intervene and do the same? or will it be an overreaction?

Is this the need of the hour or no one has the guts to do this?

Would be a massive overreaction and I doubt they would do it

The boys have earned back respect after defeating New Zealand and would now only get eliminated on NRR if we do get eliminated

Plus the batsman and fast bowlers have delivered (yes fast bowlers as well, cannot judge them based on how they bowled on the highway at Banglore against Aust and NZ)

The government should ask the PCB to do an inquiry on why Abrar or a specialist spinner who had performed in First-class or List A was not picked (Usama is there because of his PSL performance) and the person guilty should be sacked and not allowed to work with the PCB ever again

That type of stuff needs guts to do and I don't think it will happen in Pakistan. Although some fans may like this step to be taken but it will be more of an overreaction than the need of an hour. Some changes can indeed be made and should be made ASAP.

Woah. This is news for me. I heard allegations that SL board was very corrupt. Do you really think PCB needs to be scrapped. Whenever there is new management they strip down whatever old management has established.

The Pakistan Cricket Board needs an overhaul but does anyone really want the government to be the one doing it? Do you really believe the Pakistani government would make the situation better?

The PCB needs to be accountable to someone, but it needs to be to some third party manned by bureaucrats, not politicians.

Has the Government of Pakistan not intervened enough in Cricket? The changes of in management and chairmanship every few months.

I think we should decide first if we need more Politics inside our Cricket and Cricket Board or not.

Pakistan's performance is not bad when compared to Sri Lanka. Sri Lanka is 5 levels below Pakistan, getting thrashed by all teams, left, right, and center.
I don't think radical changes required to the Pakistani team, couple of selection changes are required, especially in areas of spin and allrounders.

If the Pakistan government had done this and got banned by the ICC, it could've been a good chance for a complete reset hopefully without the corruption.

Zaka Ashraf has hired 60 people from his circle into the PCB on long term contracts and high salaries

This money could have been used on developing cricketing infrastructure and helping cricketers from poor backgrounds get a head start

Political parties need to be kept away from the PCB. I am pretty sure Zaka is sparing no effort into introducing the political system in the PCB.
