How about a U-19 PSL in which there will be teams with same logos and kits and owners of main PSL.U-19 PSL should be held in Pak completely with 2 foreigners allowed to play a match. To develop peoples' interest we can have a policy like 1 Senior PSL player playing U-19 PSL with a senior foreigner. For example QG U-19 team can have Sarfraz and Rossouw and 2 other U-19 foreigners. 8 Pakistanis and 3 foreigners playing each match

I can't imagine this would be successful as there wouldn't be much interest. Also if you have 1-2 senior players playing where would this fit into the calendar?

Commercially not interesting thus will not happen.

The only thing the PCB can do is organize this in Pakistan as a regular tournament but then again they already have the inter-region something for the youngsta beauties.

I’ve always backed a mini-PSL around September time
All 6 teams should field a squad made up of their emerging players and players coming through their PDP.
All teams should be allowed 2 over 23 year olds and no foreign players.
This would be ideal for young talent to face off against each other, there is a lack of cricket in September (usually) so there would be quite some interest. Just need to ensure PTV sports is not showing it and it’s broadcasted overseas (I.e. the uk).
I would love to watch such a tournament as it will not groom new players but also future leaders. Also teams can assess which players they want to select/retain in the PSL draft

Who is going to watch it? i guess your domestic setup already have tournaments for U19.

Rather, instead of those talunt hunt shows, PSL franchise should be forced to sponsor 6 regional academies for genuine U23 or younger players for year long program. PCB's infrastructure, PSL's branding & expenses - then, may be 6 academy teams can play a tournament in between, preferably 4 days, but won't mind LOs.

The idea of PSL U19 or such isn't new - in County, they had 2nd XI tournaments (not FC status) while in AUS, there was a emerging league (grade level, not FC). At present PCB arranges lots of U16 & U19, probably U13 cricket as well, which is fantastic - just needs a highest tier, where top 100 U19 players are filtered, and the wicket quality needs to improve, rest is perfect. May be, PSL franchise can sponsor one such U19 event where 6 X 16 = 96 top players are picked.
