Important game coming up. Central Punjab got off to a winning start while Sindh lost. CP’s team looks a fair bit stronger than Sindh’s.

Is Ahmed Shehzad playing in this T20 cup or is he injured?

Central Punjab won the toss and batting first

Pathetic that Saud is dropped and khurram is playing. Never want to see this junk sarfraz near our team.

I hate the Sindh team for these reasons. They have ruined Karachi regional cricket by this dosti yaaro ki selection. Khurram, Anwar and Sohail should be nowhere near a domestic side.

Don't they even look once at what they're showing the world? :))

They are a bunch of amateurs or even worse off than that.

The difference between this and the vitality blast that was recently live on ecbs youtube channel is massive. Pcb should hire someone who is experienced with this stuff instead of amateurs.

Even amateurs won't make it this bad :))

By the looks of it, this one doesnt look like a high scoring pitch. I think around 160 here can be decent.

Beautiful bowling from Asghar. Showing glimpses of his old self, excellent flight, loop and deception. Pitch allowing that though but, still good to capitalize on that.

A much slower wicket helping these spinners and pacers bowling cutters.

Pathetic running from these Abid and Abdullah.. missed at least 3 doubles while i was watching.

Both qasim and irfan looked pretty decent shame about the run out.

Shrajeel is the kind of player you want on your side. Single handedly taking the game away from CP.

Good knock from Sharjeel on not as good a surface for batting as some others. Took his time and played proper shots.

He shouldn't even play for club team. He has zero confidence against fast bowlers.

I have seen better players of pace in club cricket then him. He's truly awful bat. Even against spin he is limited. But he cant be dropped since hes the captain.

Even his captaincy has been pretty ordinary today.

Good comeback for Naseem, after going for 21 in his first two only conceded 10 in last two which also included a misfield causing 3 extra runs.

Who is this cringe commentator with the burger accent :danish

So he is there on family quote. Thank you Wasim Khan.

He is one of the few who actively plays domestic cricket, is an extremely qualified trainer and can speak english eloquently; a combo that almost no one has at the moment.

You need to do some research and have some perspective on things before going on your badmouthing tirades.

Precisely. He might benefit from the family name but I have heard nothing but great things about him as a personal trainer who works with a lot of Pakistan’s international cricketers. I’ve seen a few interviews of him as well and he comes across as a fun, good-natured individual.

He is a good guy and is extremely hardworking. He, along with Azam khan, Shan Masood used to train at the same gym in Karachi where I did before lockdown when they moved on to training at the Moin khan Academy gym.

Today I learned being well mannered and a qualified trainer are essential skills for a commentator :))

He was also doing Urdu commentary when I tuned in an extremely cringey accents so if he has great English eloquence as you claim then he should stick to doing English commentary rather than making the ears of the viewers bleed.

Also the way you got your knickers in a twist seems as if you have some personal connection to him

Sharjeel Khan’s blazing 77 off 56 balls handed Sindh their first win of the National T20 Cup First XI tournament as they defeated Central Punjab by seven wickets on Friday evening at Multan Cricket Stadium.

The left-handed opener struck nine fours and two sixes and partnered with Khurram Manzoor, who scored 50 off 46, for a 134-run opening stand.

The batting pair dominated the run chase from the onset as they piled up 44 runs in the powerplay. Sharjeel, who was later named man-of-the-match, then took the lead role as he smoked leg-spinner Usman Qadir for four consecutive boundaries in the ninth over to effectively seal the match for his team.

Reflecting on his innings and partnership with Khurram Manzoor, Sharjeel said: “The conditions were a little tough for batting early on. Khurram and I discussed them and decided that we have to bat spend time at the crease and bat deep, which paid dividends for us.

“I could not start off the tournament on a high but I am glad that I have gotten runs in this match. It is always a great feeling to get runs early on as it boosts your confidence. Over the course of the next matches, I look forward to build on this innings.”

While Sharjeel targeted boundaries, Khurram, who hit six fours, carefully crafted his innings.

Their partnership ended on the penultimate ball of the 17th over when Sharjeel chipped Ehsan Adil to Rizwan Hussain, stationed at mid-off. On the first ball of the next over, Khurram followed his opening partner back to the pavilion after getting bowled by Naseem Shah.

Twenty-two-year-old Azam Khan (13 off six) ensured there were no further hiccups in what had been a smooth chase by spanking Ehsan for two consecutive sixes in the penultimate over.

Earlier, opting to bat first, Central Punjab managed to score only 154 for the loss of seven wickets as Sindh’s Sohail Khan and Mohammad Asghar starred with the ball, returning three for 33 and two for 22, respectively.

Openers Kamran Akmal (10 off 9 balls) and Rizwan Hussain (1 off 4 balls) were dismissed inside three overs, before Abid Ali, batting at three, scored a fighting half-century.

The right-handed batsman scored 56 hitting six fours and a six. He contributed 43 runs with Abdullah Shafiq, who scored a century on his T20 debut on the opening day of the National T20 Cup but followed it up with a 25-ball 17 today.

Central Punjab lost their captain Saad Nasim (14) and Abid to Sohail on the first and last balls of the 16th over before and Irfan Khan (five) was run out on the second ball of the 17th over which saw them slip from 97 for three to 109 for six.

That they were able to cross the 150-run mark was due to quickfire knocks by Qasim Akram and Usman Qadir. Qasim scored 24 off 13, while Usman returned not out on 20 from 10 balls.

Scores in brief:

Central Punjab 154-7, 20 overs (Abid Ali 56, Qasim Akram 24, Usman Qadir 20 not out; Sohail Khan 3-33, Mohammad Asghar 2-22)

Sindh 155-3, 18.5 overs (Sharjeel Khan 77, Khurram Manzoor 50; Ehsan Adil 2-29)

Result – Sindh won by seven wickets

Player of the match – Sharjeel Khan (Sindh)

Tbh it’s refreshing hearing an American accent on cricket commentary. Albeit broken and fake. I hate ENG/AUS/NZ/SA/IND/PAK/SL/BD English accents.

guys where can i watch PSL stream online? I am not sure if this is available on kayo in australia. I only see Ipl.
