Bodies and blood in PTI long march’
Separately, Vawda also claimed that the PTI’s upcoming long march to Islamabad would be a “bloody” one with “bodies falling” and deaths of innocent people.

He alleged that this too was a part of a conspiracy like the one to kill Sharif. “Imran Khan’s peaceful march is our right but I’m clearly telling you I’m seeing blood, deaths and funerals in this march.”

Vawda went on to say that he would not allow innocent people to “die for some conspiracy and I will try that this game of [dead] bodies comes to an end”.

Vawda said the predicted bloodshed could happen before, during or after the long march.

He maintained that the PTI’s “justified” march had become part of a conspiracy.

“The powerful personalities who are part of this conspiracy are not far from me. Today I’m standing with truth and justice. I will continue to stand with Pakistanis who are about to die in the coming days. Important personalities and many bodies are about to fall in the coming days.”

He said all this on National Tv. This means that PTI is giving a threat and can be charged under terrorism laws

This is very dangerous, and can cause civil war. Arrests need to be made now as open threat been given to the state

Bro sometimes I wonder if you are Sanuallah!

He does NOT represent PTI.

Unless Imran Khan states that, his words are nothing more than propaganda.

The courts keep on routinely throwing out such stuff against Imran - Nothing will happen.

If there is blood, it will be in the hands of the goons we currently call the Pakistan Govt.

So who does he represent than?
Is he not a party member?

Has he not held position of MNA and even as a Senator?

Every Nazi party member was identified as the party member.

He is a party member and as a member he has just made some big claims on national tv. A PTI own party member is infact now giving threats which indicates towards civil war. Obviously, him making such claims also put him liable and in trouble.

He was never a smart man, but once PTI decided to make him a party member, why back out.

Maybe you will understand some day. Just look at where his press conference was shown, who knew about it in advance and who is doing bhangra over it. Just like Aleem and JKT, another snake exposed within 5 min of his presser. I just hope they launch all their remaining assets before the March, we aren't too far from all of the double agents being exposed

:)) double agents....

Werent you the one that used to enjoy that Bajwa and Imran are together
Werent you the same people that used to take pride that JKT is using his plane to do horse trading on independant mnas
Werent you the same people that used to enjoy using Aleem Khan's money
Weren't you the same people used to take pride in sending Faisal Vawda to talk shows as he talked smart and would place others in place.

Today when Faisal Vawda is telling something, now jee he is a snake, and because it doesnt support the party narative he is not part of the party :)). He is part of the party, which is why show cause notice was sent by Imran, because he is a party member.

Own party member spilled the truth...............

Good to see all Mir Jaffars are exposing themselves within PTI.

PMLN were doing bhangra about this before he did it which means they knew what he was going to say.

It's known IK has a lot of backstabbers around him. Good to know they're being exposed. Rather they're exposing themselvss

There are millions of party members in PTI.

Like I said, you get very excited very quickly in your efforts to defame Imran Khan. But the sad part is, no one is buying it bro.

dont you guys defend these people when they sprout the party narrative. No matter what opposition says.

But as soon as its not the party narrative, than the person is "exposed" "Jhota"

The four names i mentioned above i have seen posters take pride in them when they spoke..

This press conference made no sense at all. Vawda called the press conference claiming he will expose all the culprits but the only thing he exposed is himself.

It’s pretty simple he called this press conference on his own accord not as a party spokesperson.

It’s funny when you conveniently forget who Javed Latif is when he does a press conference saying that establishment is forcing PDM to stay in power.

After this press conference, SHeikh Rasheed has said he wont be coming to the protest due to health reasons :))) :))) :)))

The party narrative for me comes from IK, Asad Umar, Fwd ch and few others. If it's party policy then normally then we normally get confirmation from IK.

It was planted and covered by all major news media on purpose. PTI has already kicked him out.

"asteen ke saanp" can try all they want. IK will succeed.

PTI and violence.

What do they hope to achieve through bloodshed?

Bajwa betrayed PK, Javed Latif said as much. So us believing and trusting our Coas to uphold the constitution and then finding out that the cretin betrayed PK and now is the head of the mafia isn't our fault.
And the fact that all that have tried subvert the PTI have failed is a source of great pride. We know now that they were trying to buy influence but it didn't work and that's why they left and today stand humiliated with political careers over.
FV was telling something and you can believe him but as soon as he appeared on PTV, a channel that IK has been erased from, told us everything we needed to know. The mafia had their assets around IK and now they are exposed. I am sure he will feel at home in the mafia parties that kill opponents

Would be interesting to know when the last time PTV aired a PC by a PTI member before Faisal Vawda’s PC.

A channel that’s state run…

No your not. We showed you up before. When our women and children were being beaten, tortured and killed, you showed no interest, when these journalists and investigators were being killed, did you ever care to condemn. But when your thugs get called chore, you got all excited

You, the supporters of and enablers of the mafia. You the guys that get worked up over chore being called chore, but go tuss when the mafia beat up old ladies, torture and murder journalists, kill investigators and threaten and arrest kids on social media.

thank you

Yes the likes of you, the hypocrites who told us they were democratic but wanted people tortured and revelled in torture, the ones that support the murderers of journalists and defend them like they are their paymasters, the ones that talked about inflation but can't utter a word against the thugs and their destruction of the economy, the ones that defended a coup and now do gymnastics over what Javed Latif told us or even Billo.

Relax buddy.

I’m just a by stander. I live near Jemima Bhabhi and I walk past PMLN protests thinking what *** these jokers doing here.

It really is none of my business, but I am clearly seeing a violent streak in the protests and frustrations shown by PTI supporters.

Don’t take it to heart.

Except you join when the thugs are called chore but are tongue tied when old women are beaten and tortured including Allama Iqbals family members, or kids are arrested or journalists are murdered. Put your cards on the table who is threatening and torturing journalists, who is killing the investigation officers. Is it the the mafia familes or the ISI?

This tweet sums it up perfectly.

These low class janwaars and their party's paid lifafa media started running their mouths in advance about the Vawda press conference which illustrates they bought him and offered to end his disqualification in return for him favouring their theft, treason and crimes. Even for low class cheap moves one needs a brain, which these traitors do not have.

It was the same with their fictional book to defame Imran Khan before 2018 elections and all cheap lies spread by chors besharam daughters media cell, every single fake lie and conspiracy fails.

PTI leader Faisal Vawda has said that he had cautioned his party chairman and former prime minister Imran Khan that some people around him had been misleading him and sabotaging his political struggle of 26 years.

“I kept on convincing my leader Imran Khan that his political struggle of 26 years is being taken towards the wrong direction by two ‘special’, three ‘snakes’ and some worms,” he wrote on his official Twitter handle on Friday.

The PTI leader said pursuing the wrong political strategy on the advice of “moles” caused harm to the country, benefited the ruling alliance – Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) – and led to a confrontation with the institutions.

“We were very close to an agreement. I will bring their names soon,” he said without offering details.

The PTI leaders were left shocked and bewildered on Wednesday after party leader Faisal Vawda appeared on state-owned broadcaster PTV and placed himself at the forefront and “tried to damage” the party's long march to Islamabad and denounced his claims that the protests would witness “bloodshed".

Vawda claimed during his hurriedly-called presser that the establishment had no role in the killing of senior journalist Arshad Sharif, adding that the name of the conspirators would be revealed soon.

He said that the killing of the senior journalist was not an accident and his murder was planned in Pakistan. "I've made a video and named people... If I'm killed the personalities involved will also be killed in three to five hours," he said.

Vawda also claimed that the Aazadi March towards the federal capital would be “bloody”. “Imran Khan’s peaceful long march is our right but I am clearly telling you I am seeing blood, deaths and coffins in this march.”

Shortly after the presser, in the show-cause notice issued to Vawda, PTI Sindh President Ali Zaidi told the former minister that he had "grossly violated discipline by giving statements against party policies and guidelines".

"This is in serious violation of party rules as per the Constitution, therefore, you are required to submit a reply within two days of this notice stating why your party membership should not be cancelled.”

We know now who the snakes were around IK- Aleem Khan,JKT and now FV. Who can trust these crooks

Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan on Saturday terminated the basic party membership of Faisal Vawda, days after a contentious press conference that was disowned by the party leadership.

The Wednesday press conference, in which he said the party’s march to Islamabad would be “bloody”, was panned by the party leadership and spurred the issuance of a show-cause notice.

The termination, a letter of which was tweeted by PTI’s official Twitter account today, comes after Vawda failed to “respond to the notice within the stipulated timeline” — that was given to him to clarify his stance.

Vawda has yet to publicly comment on the matter.

He was issued a show-cause notice and his party membership was suspended after his press conference — held that same day — was loaded with claims that were deemed to be “against party policies and guidelines”.

In his media talk, he claimed that the establishment had “no role in his [Arshad Sharif’s] killing” and that Sharif had no threats while staying in Pakistan.

He had also stated that PTI’s long march will be a “bloody” one with “deaths and funerals” of innocent people due to a “conspiracy”.

His allegations were met with great disapproval from PTI leaders, including PTI Sindh President Ali Haider Zaidi who tweeted that “Vawda tried to damage our long march”.

PTI leader Asad Umar had also declared in a tweet that Vawda’s “statement does not represent party policy and views”.

Yesterday, Vawda had tweeted that he “kept trying to make Khan sahab understand, explained to him and emphasised that two confidants, three snakes and a few maggots are taking his political hard work of 26 years on some other path; that caused the country harm, benefitted the PDM and resulted in confrontation with institutions.”

“We were very close to a compromise. Will reveal their names soon,” he added.

It won't be bloody but there will be some form of confrontation. More of a concern is terrorists could strike during this vulnerable time.

Rana Sana claims PTI intends violence, shares alleged audio clip of party leader as evidence
Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah has alleged that the PTI intends to spread “violence” and “chaos” during its long march to Islamabad, contrary to the party’s claim of holding a peaceful protest.

The minister made these remarks during a press conference, sharing an audio clip, purportedly of former federal minister and PTI leader Ali Amin Gandapur, as evidence of his claim.

In the clip, a man, believed to Gandapur, is heard asking an unidentified person about the number of guns and individuals available. He also asks the other person to keep “things and people” ready at a location near the Islamabad border.

Special Assistant to Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister for Information and PR, Barrister Muhammad Ali Saif on Saturday claimed that PTI leader Ali Amin Gandapur in his alleged leaked audio was referring to “licensed arms and carrying licensed arms for one’s safety is not a crime”.

Following Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah’s presser, Barrister Saif stated that “Rana Sanaullah is holding back-to-back press conferences to safeguard his government which is now based on mere 27 kilometres.”

The Supreme Court asked former Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) lawmaker Faisal Vawda on Thursday to admit his mistake and accept the one-time disqualification, otherwise the court had enough material for his disqualification under 62(1)(f).

A three-judge bench led by Chief Justice Umar Ata Bandial and comprising Justice Mansoor Ali Shah and Justice Ayesha Malik, heard Vawda’s appeal against a decision of the Islamabad High Court (IHC), which had upheld the Election Commission of Pakistan’s (ECP) ruling for his disqualification because of dual nationalities.

During the hearing, Chief Justice Bandial said that either Vawda should admit his mistake and be disqualified under 63(1)(c), otherwise the court would proceed with the case under 62(1)f. he added that there was enough material before the court to disqualify Faisal Vawda for life.

The chief justice emphasised that Vawda must admit his mistake in writing, adding that Vawda must appear before the court and say that he changed the date of dual citizenship. He directed Vawda's lawyer to bring the certificate of renunciation of US citizenship by Vawda.

The lawyer argued that the ECP was not a court of law, therefore; it did not have the power to disqualify anyone for life. The chief justice told the lawyer that there was material before the court which proved that Vawda gave a false affidavit.

Justice Malik said that if the ECP did not have the authority, then the IHC had the authority to declare lifelong disqualification. Justice Mansoor Shah asked the lawyer why couldn’t the Supreme Court disqualify him for life with the evidence in front of the court.

The court observed that Vawda told many lies to cover up one lie, adding that he submitted the affidavit not for a job but for the election. Being honest and trustworthy was a condition for contesting elections, the judge emphasised. “There is no room for mistake in politics,” he said.

After which the court adjourned further hearing of the case till Friday (today).

SC issues order in Faisal Vawda’s disqualification case

THE Supreme Court on Sunday issued a four-page order ruling that the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has no jurisdiction under the Constitution to decide the pre-election disqualification of a lawmaker.

Nullifying the verdicts of the ECP and high court in a case relating to disqualification of former PTI senator Faisal Vawda, the SC order said: “ECP has no jurisdiction [...] to inquire into and decide upon the matter of pre-election disqualification and disqualification of a returned candidate.”

According to GeoNews, the judgement was authored by Chief Justice of Pakistan Umar Ata Bandial, who along with Justice Syed Mansoor Ali Shah and Justice Ayesha Malik, heard the case.

The order recalled that Faisal Vawda informed the bench that he had received a citizenship renunciation certificate from the US authorities on June 25, 2018, adding that he had admitted his mistake and apologised to the Supreme Court unconditionally.

Mr Vawda was not eligible to contest the elections in 2018, the short order noted, but added that after tendering an unconditional apology, Article 63 (1) (C) was applied to him, and now he can contest elections for the next assembly term.

Hence, the former PTI leader would be considered disqualified till the end of the incumbent parliament’s tenure. He is eligible to contest the next elections in the country, read the short order.

The apex court directed the authorities concerned to forward Mr Vawda’s resignation to the Senate chairman for further process.

During the last hearing on Nov 25, the Supreme Court had revoked the lifetime ban, which barred the former PTI leader from contesting elections, after he tendered an unconditional apology.

The ECP had on Feb 9 imposed a lifetime ban on Mr Vawda for concealing his dual nationality at the time of filing of papers for contesting the election for a National Assembly seat in the 2018 elections. The ECP also directed him to return the salary and other benefits he had received as a minister and as a member of the National Assembly within two months. It had also de-notified him as a senator.

plant or not. Khan's U-Turns and his decisions can't be defended.

Khan has been exposed more than anyone else. Very weak decisions and mostly selfish without considering the safety and situation of the country.

Yes they can and we will defend them. Kaptaan lives in the reality of a mafia wanting to kill him and destroy PK,with that in mind you have to take unpalatable decisions. No one one is forced to support him,I am sure abbu and daughter are more your cup of tea

IK did the right thing by calling this whole thing off. Even he can't be dumb enough to see how it could lead to civil conflict on the streets of the capital. Asim Munir probably told him to "knock it off" for the sake off the country. No one absolutely no one is bigger then the country. Imran Khan fans seem unable to understand that anything causing trouble to the country benefits the enemy. He would rightly have been blamed had the situation gotten out of hand. IK does fear the ISI and military, you better believe it that he does!

Na na na brother. This is where it all gets messed up. Huge supporter of Khan and even flew in to vote for him. That being said, not a blind supporter who will defend every action of his. Anyone who calls him out regarding his U-turns and policies is automatically labelled as patwari or nooni.

Plus there is no one in PTI who I feel can take his position to lead the party later on. As of now, PTI = IK.

Kaptaan has put his life on the line, you at best have been inconvenienced. I trust his judgement and will support him through thick and thin.

Vawda’s Senate membership renewed
ECP withdraws notification of Nisar Khuhro’s victory on the Senate seat

The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has issued a notification for the restoration of Faisal Vawda’s Senate seat.

In light of the Supreme Court's (SC) decision, the Election Commission has withdrawn the notification of the seat’s vacancy in the Senate and has reinstated the notification of the former Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader's victory in the general seat of Sindh on March 10.

After issuing the notification for the restoration of Vawda to the seat, the Election Commission has withdrawn the notification of Nisar Khuhro’s victory on the Senate seat.

According to the decision of the apex court, Vawda has to resign after the restoration of his seat, after which the ECP will hold elections for the general seat.

Former Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Faisal Vawda has accused some leaders of the PTI of being in contact with "foreign agencies" with the aim of becoming prime minister after removing party chairman Imran Khan from the political scene.

Speaking to the media in Islamabad on Wednesday, Vawda, who claims that he is still a close associate of the PTI chief, urged party supporters to remain calm and to strengthen Imran Khan's position, stating that those calling for action are misleading the public and causing destruction to the party.

Vawda said that India is benefiting greatly from the situation in Pakistan, adding that the neighbouring country's government should know that Pakistanis are united when it comes to national security.

"We are making the dreams of our enemies a reality due to our differences," he said.

The former PTI leader called for the party to avoid falling into the hands of conspirators and emphasised that Imran Khan himself is not involved in any foreign agenda.

"Only a handful of 'gamers' are voluntarily giving arrests," he said.

According to Vawda, some individuals within the party are "playing games" for personal gain and will soon be exposed. He also emphasised the importance of adopting democratic and legal methods, rather than resorting to violence.

The former PTI leader vowed to continue working for Pakistan, Imran Khan, and the nation.

"Imran Khan should not be taken to a point where the party leadership falls into the hands of conspirators. As far as I am concerned, I will do my best for Pakistan, Imran Khan, and my people. The people should adopt a democratic and legal method," he added.

He pointed out that the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) had previously taken similar actions, which were deemed justified, and now that the same is happening with the PTI, it should be accepted.

Vawda also stated that he remains committed to PTI and Imran Khan's vision for Pakistan, and will continue to work towards that end. He called for unity and emphasised that the PTI leadership is solely Imran Khan, and not anyone else.

The statement comes a day after ex-PM Imran was arrested by NAB with the help of Rangers paramilitary force at the Islamabad High Court (IHC).

Despite protests erupting across the country condemning the arrest, the government has backed the development maintaining it was in accordance with the law.

In an appalling show of vandalism nev*er witnessed before in the country’s history, PTI supporters attacked and caused damage to the historic Corps Commander’s House in Lahore, which also served as the res*idence of the founding father of the nation Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, hours after Imran Khan’s arrest on Tuesday.

On Wednesday, audio leaks surfaced on social media, indicating that the leadership of the PTI was allegedly involved in the attack on the residence of Lahore Corps Commander. The purported audio clips appeared to show that PTI senior leaders had urged party workers to gather at the Jinnah House, as they "rejoiced" the damage caused to the historic bulding in the recorded telephone calls.

"We have destroyed the entire Corp Commander House and ended their story," Ali Chaudhry could be allegedly heard telling Ejaz Chaudhry in one of the recordings.

Due to the unprecedented situation, the interim provincial governments requisitioned army troops to maintain law and order in Punjab and Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P).

At least five protesters have been reported dead as the protests turned violent, with several others injured. At least three policemen were also seriously injured in clashes with PTI supporters in Peshawar.

Officials at Edhi Foundation reported two deaths in Lahore while another three were reported in Peshawar.

PTI is reaping what it sowed: Vawda

Former federal minister Faisal Vawda has said that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf is reaping what it has sown, referring to the May 9 riots in which military installations were attacked after former prime minister Imran Khan was arrested in a graft case.

“What they did [on that day], even an enemy couldn't have done. If, based on popularity, you head towards destabilising your country, spreading chaos, and have intentions to annihilate opponents, then you have crossed the limits,” the seasoned politician said while talking to a private TV channel on Thursday.

On the accountability of judges accused of wrongdoing, the former minister said: “The two judges who have just resigned were going to face corruption cases so they did it to save their pensions, but have not yet faced accountability.”

Vawda lamented, “There is no accountability for your wheeling and dealing.” On the supremacy of judiciary, the politician said: “There was never any election here because the judicial system, wherever it points, the wind blows in that direction, and the establishment, we drag them, saying they are powerful.”

The former minister said, “Your system kills Zulfikar Ali Bhutto. They leave the killers of Benazir Bhutto. When desired, they give Asif Zardari a 14-year sentence. Whenever you want, you bind the elected government of Imran Khan to take a no-confidence vote.”

He said yesterday, he was listening to Nawaz Sharif’s statement that the dollar had reached Rs275. “No sir, your (Nawaz’s) expert Ishaq Dar had left the dollar at Rs340,” he said. “Due to the governance of the army chief, it came down to Rs265 and is now running at Rs 275.”

He said all this on National Tv. This means that PTI is giving a threat and can be charged under terrorism laws

This is very dangerous, and can cause civil war. Arrests need to be made now as open threat been given to the state
hmm, and this is exactly what happened with PTI.....

Along with most of the political leaders, he was an establishment stooge. They have nationalised the Nooras and PPP bur Kaptaan has refused to budge and the establishment don't know what to do except kill, kidnap, assault and imprison people. Look at pathetic Billo begging the establishment to make him PM, look at the pathetic Nooras and their begging, look at the nationalised media and the even more pathetic Judiciary, with a CJP that fooled even his closest supporters. Its called elite capture but one man stands bravely against the mafia. Will IK and PKs win against this mafia, probably not but the politics of the mafia are finished as far as the voters are concerned

‘Personal interests, big egos’ main problems

Former federal minister Faisal Vawda on Tuesday said personal interests and big egos had become the problem, stressing that the current situation in the country was the result of what had been sown.

Speaking in Express News programme ‘Kal Tak’ and an interview with a private news channel, Vawda said that what happened in the elections, was the same that took place in the 2018 elections as well as in the 2013 and 2008 elections before that.

He added that it would be like this even in the future elections. However, he emphasised that for the first time, he was taking “one positive thing” from this election: the next election and the system will be for the betterment of Pakistan.

In response to a question, Vawda said that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) which was seen today was a caretaker PTI. “Where is the real PTI,” he asked, stressing that the PTI “will be out of the system if it does not become part of the reconciliation”.

To another question, the former minister said that whatever the PPP said, it would happen. “The PPP will take all the constitutional offices and the onus of everything will fall on the PML-N.” He warned that the biggest problem ahead was the payment of $24 billion in June.

On the speech of PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif after the elections, he said that Nawaz should have shown his leadership ability. He should have offered the independent candidates an opportunity to form the government because they were the largest group. In fact, the independents were in no position to form the government.

Vawda says current political atmosphere suits independents

Former Federal Minister Faisal Vawda has voiced concerns over the sustainability of the newly elected Chief Minister of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Ali Amin Gandapur, suggesting that he may not complete his term. Vawda anticipates challenges for the PTI government in K-P after Ramazan, highlighting uncertainties regarding its longevity.

Addressing the media after submitting his nomination papers as an independent candidate to the Election Commission of Sindh in Karachi, Vawda remarked that the current political climate is conducive for independent candidates. "I have previously served as a Member of the National Assembly, Federal Minister, and Senator at a young age, before stepping down," he stated, underscoring his independence from any political party, including the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP).

Expressing hope for victory in the upcoming election, Vawda emphasised that success ultimately lies in the hands of Allah. He clarified his decision to contest independently, citing personal commitments that prevented his participation in previous general elections. While acknowledging the uncertainty surrounding the current government's tenure, he reaffirmed the six-year term duration for Senate seats.

Vawda said that the Sunni Itehhad Council can form a government on the moon. He urged the current government to take the country out of the crisis.

He asserted that his expulsion from the party was a consequence of speaking the truth, expressing concern for the welfare of the common people and urging the PTI leadership to focus on substantive issues rather than engaging in theatrical politics.

Responding to questions, Vawda extended openness to dialogue with various political figures, revealing his interactions with Asif Ali Zardari on multiple occasions. He dismissed provincial governance in Punjab, mocking the distribution of jobs and portraying the Chief Minister's actions as superficial. Vawda's remarks underscore a critical stance on current political dynamics while positioning himself as an alternative to traditional party affiliations in the upcoming elections.

Insult to armed forces unacceptable: Vawda

Senator Faisal Vawda emphatically declared on Thursday that insulting those who defend the country's borders was absolutely unacceptable.

Expressing his views after being sworn in the upper house, Vawda expressed his gratitude to his parents, the PML-N and the PPP for their support in his journey to become a senator.
He called for formulating rules in the Senate and emphasised the importance of ceasing disrespectful behaviour to others.

“Unless this system is changed, and 6 represented as 9 and 9 as 6, Pakistan will not progress,” he said metaphorically.
Vawda noted that the judiciary ranked 149th in the world because of the current prevailing “system”.
“If an affidavit applies to me, it will also apply to all judges and generals in Pakistan. If it is not currently applicable, we will ensure its application,” he said.

“We cannot move [forward] unless our system changes. Neither worker, nor leader or production order will be of any use unless the system is changed.”

He further questioned the “unlawful” marriage case against the PTI founder.
Vawda recalled that he was called to appear before the courts in the “name of law” when his mother was on the deathbed.

He questioned the hanging of PPP founder Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto, saying after years they came to know who the “culprit” was behind the execution.

“Zardari saab was kept in jail for years. Under which law Nawaz Sharif and PTI founder’s governments were overthrown?” he asked. “Who will pay for the losses in Reko Diq [case]?”

Vawda said the country had suffered much, adding that they would “formulate laws and get it implemented”.

“[We] will not allow anyone to issue the certificate of sadiq (truthful) and ameen (righteous) from outside.”

Vawda maintained that it was his first day in the upper house, adding that he would not like to name people who were “playing on multiple fronts”. He called for exposing such individuals.

Faisal Vawda tenders ‘unconditional’ apology to Supreme Court

Senator Faisal Vawda has submitted an apology to the Supreme Court of Pakistan in a contempt of court case.

Vawda, in his second written response to the court, expressed his utmost respect for the judiciary.

Vawda stated, "Following the court proceedings on June 5, I met with religious scholars to understand the role of a senator. I was advised to stand by justice, even if it is against my own kin."

In his written apology, Vawda included references from the Qur'an and Hadith, demonstrating his sincerity.

He requested the Supreme Court to withdraw the show-cause notice issued to him, stating, "In the light of Islamic teachings, I seek forgiveness with a sincere heart.

If my press conference has harmed the dignity of the judiciary, I unconditionally apologise. I leave myself at the mercy of the court and request the withdrawal of the show-cause notice in the contempt case."

The contempt case against Vawda is set to be heard by a three-judge bench led by Chief Justice Qazi Faez Isa on June 28.
