In South Africa it's not the National Anthem.

It's the song Shosholoza. We sing it on April 27 (our Freedom Day). We sing at at all our major sporting events. We welcome all our international dignitaries with this song.

On April 27, South Africans of all ages, races, religions, gendor, rich and poor march together to sing this song

Lyrics

This song was composed by the workers and sang by mine workers, factory workers, farm workers and all other workers

Dil dil Pakistan is definitely at the top for Pakistan.

There is not a single Pakistani born or lived/living after the release of Dil Dil Pakistan that doesn't sing along when the song is blared.

If Pakistanis are quarrelling amongst themselves just play Dil Dil and they would start hugging and dancing.

Alot of Pakistanis know the full song but have trouble singing the national anthem.

'Made in India' by Alisha Chinai ..unites everyone from Kashmir to Kanyakumari.

Shosholoza is becoming popular throughout the world

Singing shosholoza at president Obama Inauguration

AR Rahmans "Vande Mataram" .. unites Indians even more than the actual National anthem and song !

Then you have "Saare jahaan se acha" .

In film songs it'd be "Chaiyya Chaiyya" and " Dhoom machale" ..,

Dil Dil Pakistan only 2nd to our National Anthem.

I like songs for cricket world cups alot. They unite the nation.

Nusrat's 'Pakistan Pakistan' was very popular when I was a kid. I l isten to it till this day. Jazba Junoon was also very popular.

90s were an era that would later be known as Childhood of Media World. It grew exponentially from late 90s onward. Romance from Childhood always mesmerise. Be it for songs, cricket, social culture and Global harmony, 90s will be missed like we sweet memories of Childhood. For the same reason, it's Dil Dil forever.
